Integrated employee data has improved HR coordination but reporting and interface still need work
The GUI of SAP SuccessFactors Learning is still not very good. The drop-downs are too limited. One thing I want to have is an advisory banner with highlighted font that employees can visibly see during login, but support indicated this cannot be done. I have already raised this request to the support team, and they mentioned that the same request has come from other companies.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I find the user interface user-friendly compared to the initial application."
"The implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Learning has definitely impacted our operational efficiency and cost savings."
"The most valuable features of the solution were the deployment and onboarding."
"The product offers a lot of information which we can share with systems."
"SAP SuccessFactors Learning's most valuable features are accessibility and updated UX, as the solution can be accessed from outside of the office network and the user's experience is good."
"The most valuable feature for us in SAP SuccessFactors is the Performance Management module."
"Proven track record as the Vendor and SI spend hundreds of hours developing, testing, and researching the system (this results in fewer bugs, threats, and a more functional system)."
"Safety is the most robust aspect of this platform."
"Great for tracking and reporting user training."

Cons

"The GUI and dashboards are areas in the solution with shortcomings where improvements are required."
"The flexibility and user-friendliness of the user's front end can be improved."
"What needs improvement in SAP SuccessFactors Learning is the user interface. The user management and the integration of the whole suite could also be improved. The solution also needs to be modernized because at the moment, it's a little bit outdated. It's old-fashioned, and though it has a data import feature, that's just plain outdated. SAP SuccessFactors Learning doesn't have any cutting-edge features."
"The course analytics feature takes a long time to load data, which is especially problematic for managers who want to quickly access reports and dashboards."
"The consultants implementing this solution could be more knowledgeable."
"The GUI of SAP SuccessFactors Learning is still not very good."
"The only drawback of the tool is that it is dependent on its database."
"Some features of SAP SuccessFactors Learning that require improvement include reporting tools and dashboarding, which are not so good, and integration is really difficult."
"Difficult to adjust the resolution of screen captures and Captivate simulations -- come out a little fuzzy"

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The price of SAP SuccessFactors Learning could be better, it is expensive. There is an annual subscription. It's overpriced for small enterprises."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a one out of ten."
"The tool is cheap."
"The pricing changes and the license amount is quite costly."
"A company is required to pay annual licensing fees."
"My company does have to make yearly payments towards the licensing costs of the solution. My company considers the solution to be worth its price, but we don't consider it to be a cheap solution."
"The solution is expensive, but it's a good product."
"The solution is really cheap."
