Integrated employee data has improved HR coordination but reporting and interface still need work
The GUI of SAP SuccessFactors Learning is still not very good. The drop-downs are too limited. One thing I want to have is an advisory banner with highlighted font that employees can visibly see during login, but support indicated this cannot be done. I have already raised this request to the support team, and they mentioned that the same request has come from other companies.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"One valuable aspect of SAP SuccessFactors Learning is its stability and established customer base, particularly evident in modules like Employee Central."
"Proven track record as the Vendor and SI spend hundreds of hours developing, testing, and researching the system (this results in fewer bugs, threats, and a more functional system)."
"The analytics and reporting features are very helpful."
"SAP SuccessFactors Learning easily interfaces with our other systems."
"The most valuable feature for us in SAP SuccessFactors is the Performance Management module."
"The solution is a user-friendly application for learning, designing, and setting up courses."
"The product offers a lot of information which we can share with systems."
"The tool allows us to create content and review employee progress in their educational knowledge."
"Great for tracking and reporting user training."

Cons

"We encounter challenges when connecting with external systems and moving from one platform to another within SAP."
"The product must make the integrations more seamless."
"Some features of SAP SuccessFactors Learning that require improvement include reporting tools and dashboarding, which are not so good, and integration is really difficult."
"What needs improvement in SAP SuccessFactors Learning is the user interface. The user management and the integration of the whole suite could also be improved. The solution also needs to be modernized because at the moment, it's a little bit outdated. It's old-fashioned, and though it has a data import feature, that's just plain outdated. SAP SuccessFactors Learning doesn't have any cutting-edge features."
"The price of SAP SuccessFactors Learning could be better, it is expensive. There is an annual subscription. It's overpriced for small enterprises."
"The technical support team has room for improvement."
"The consultants implementing this solution could be more knowledgeable."
"The only drawback of the tool is that it is dependent on its database."
"Difficult to adjust the resolution of screen captures and Captivate simulations -- come out a little fuzzy"

Pricing and Cost Advice

"You need to procure licensing and it is expensive."
"Compared to Workday, SAP SuccessFactors Learning is not an expensive solution."
"The solution is expensive, but it's a good product."
"The tool's licensing model is very straightforward...You will get the relevant mail from SAP, and accordingly, you have to proceed with the provisioning enablement, after which you can start the configuration."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a one out of ten."
"The additional costs in the solution are based on usage and in regard to the functionalities or services leveraged."
"The solution is really cheap."
"The pricing changes and the license amount is quite costly."
