Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I would recommend this solution for companies that are SAP dependent with users working in this environment.""It is a comprehensive BI solution that provides reporting, planning, and predictive analytics in one solution. You don't have to buy three different products. It is very flexible. It can be implemented very quickly. It has a lot of out-of-the-box scenarios that you can use for quick deployment.""The ease of use of the solution is its most valuable feature. We haven't tried all of the features yet. The graphing and the ease of using the analytics tools have been great. It's all drag and drop; you don't need to code anything.""It's many features make it the best in the market.""The most valuable features are on the application side, where you can design applications into your analytics on the platform.""The stories have really been helpful in looking at specific scenarios and analyzing trends over periods of time.""Planning and integration are the most valuable features. It is useful for planning, and it is useful for integrating with on-prem or cloud SAP solutions.""The ability to collaborate and plan together is great."

"Sigma is a great software for non-technical business users. If someone's familiar with pivot tables or Excel or Google Sheets, they should be able to pick up Sigma pretty quickly. There is a very low bar for onboarding.""The most valuable aspect for me is having real-time data.""The tool's interface is easy to use. The functions listed as a part of the menu items are easy to use."

Cons
"One area for improvement in SAP Analytics Cloud is incorporating Python into the coding. That functionality is available, but it's not as efficient, and it's a bit difficult sometimes to do it, so that could be improved.""It seems like there's a problem with the tool's licenses. If there are a lot of users, like 200, who only use the solution once a year, paying for a full-year license for each user is expensive. There's no option for users who only use the solution occasionally.""Statistical analysis should be a bit more profound than it is.""SAP could add more templates to the platform.""An additional feature that needs to be added to SAP Analytics Cloud is exporting because right now, you can only export to PDF and PowerPoint. It would be good to have multiple export options, for example, to Excel and other apps. Pricing is an area for improvement in SAP Analytics Cloud, apart from exporting.""The connection works only for importing data. Currently, there is no real-time integration between SAP Analytics Cloud and CRM. There are some features present in the classic but not in the optimized version. If I need to create something specific, I often have to switch the versions. It would be more convenient to have a single product that incorporates all the necessary features.""Figuring out how to navigate all of the products around Data Warehouse Cloud and SAP Analytics Cloud and BW for HANA is quite difficult.""The integration with other vendors and solutions could be improved."

More SAP Analytics Cloud Cons →

"The only minor area for improvement lies in handling highly complex visualizations.""I would like to see better visualization options. That would allow me to build out more visually pleasing dashboarding in Sigma.""The product's roadmap regarding introducing new features in the solution or new versions of the tool can be made better in the future."
