Streamlined data management reduces workload and costs significantly for the team
We are planning to use Rubrik Go's AI-powered insights for predictive analytics, but have not implemented this yet. I cannot provide updates on Rubrik Go's capability to automate data management tasks because I have not used that feature yet. Rubrik Go's integration capabilities with cloud providers have benefited my multi-cloud environment significantly. Rubrik Go's subscription model has helped me align my data protection investments, which is a good option as I am one of the customers who have deployed this subscription option. I am definitely satisfied with the licensing model as it is very simplified and easy to understand. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Rubrik Go a 9.

Backup has protected our office data and now restores individual emails while admins configure settings
Although Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 is a Backup as a Service, it should give slight leverage to the admins to do more of their own configurations. When it comes to Software as a Service, we do need to agree on certain things, as we do not have much control over the software. If Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 can improve, it would be better. It could be slightly better, but it is acceptable. As long as support is provided in a timely manner, it is good. I cannot tell it is fully bad or fully good. If I were to give a rating of one to five, I might give 3.5 to four. Rather than giving a help database, which is an ocean of information to search through ourselves, we should be able to open a ticket and have them guide us on how to do it. As an end-user, different levels of admins exist—a fresh admin and a more experienced admin. They need to encourage us to open a ticket quickly, and from there they should guide us straightforwardly with the steps to follow to achieve the desired outcome.

Cons

"You should be able to add more workloads to Rubrik Go."
"Rubrik Go's security visibility could be improved."
"If you were to compare it to, say, EMC, the availability of the documentation, training programs, and end-user education aren't as good. Rubrik could improve this."
"The tool's pricing needs to be improved."
"Being a modern backup solution, Rubrik should have an option to back up a Kubernetes cluster."
"The AWS backups could be improved."
"I think integration with multiple cloud support could be an additional feature that would make the product even better."
"If you're going for Rubrik, you are not opting for the tape library because Rubrik doesn't have the fiber cable connected to the tape library."
"They need to enable the encryption of backups so that nobody can gain access unless they have encryption details."
"They should include some more options to send alerts in existing monitoring software."
"The pricing model is unnecessarily confusing and could be simplified."
"Technical support could be improved."
"This solution does provide the option to choose a different target of storage."
"Microsoft currently saves only two months of conversation history, and it would be better if Veeam could focus on backing up more than two months of conversation data."
"I have not really seen an ROI from Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365. On the customer side, we don't really see the ROI."
"When you add a new site for backup, it gives you a notice that there is a new site, but the way you select that and configure that could be slightly better. It works, but it is not always very clear. For example, for the URL, you need to hover over the title or the name of the site. You should see it immediately on the screen. It should have a better user interface for selecting what you want to back up so that you get a more clear overview of the sites that are there and the ones that you want to combine in a backup. Its user interface should be more user-friendly. It has a lot of scrolling and doesn't give you a complete overview when needed. That's the main thing why it is not very user-friendly. It should have a better user interface."

"The licensing price is quite high. It's expensive."

"The pricing is middle-of-the-road compared with competing products."
