Offers flexibility and better accessibility to users
The security part of the tool is not so strong, making it an area I would like to see improved in the solution. When working with a cloud tool, it's never 100 percent secure and it is always something to take into account. I would like to be more comfortable working with it and feeling safer. In the future, the tool can be made faster. In the future, I would like to see maybe some AI features in the tool to help automate stuff. You need to be able to create your own models to help create some automated actions.

The implementation cycle has been reduced significantly but has room for integration enhancements

"The ability to manage security and access the server from any location with complete security using SSH is perfect for performing crucial tasks, even while travelling."
"The automated features of auto-purging in 12c helps clear disk space on a routine basis."
"It is pretty easy to use."
"It’s great that we have the entire suite of SAP at our fingertips."

Cons

"Needs better integration with other Oracle/non-Oracle products."

"The current pricing model is credit-based. We would like to have more information about the usage of the existing applications."
"Shows errors without providing any analysis."
"SAP Cloud Platform should improve on integrating third-party applications with S/4HANA."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is somewhat expensive."
"Oracle Java Cloud Service is an expensive product."
"Oracle is a little more expensive right now, but not much compared to SAP. Oracle's prices are very much dependent on the scale of the project and how many users are there."
"I discovered that the SAP Cloud Platform is affordable, contrary to the impression that it's expensive. The pricing for extra packages or messages is quite reasonable, especially for things like message throughput and processing."
"SAP provides good discounts."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is a high price, and ten is a low price, I rate the pricing a six or seven."
"SAP Cloud Platform is expensive. It can be quite costly."
"SAP Cloud Platform costs $2 to $5 per hour, while I found other platforms way more affordable. You have to pay per use, though that's fine because that means the cost is flexible."
"The tool could get too pricey...Small enterprises that want to leverage the tool's features will have difficulty in utilizing the solution."
"The cost when it comes to monitoring can be difficult."
"SAP offers yearly, subscription-based, and pay-as-you-use licensing."
