The prebuilt connectors save a lot of time and money, but the customer support and price must be improved
Our customer’s system is very old. We are trying to upgrade it. We are extracting data from the system and sending it to Salesforce. The product is a good option if we want to build process automation for data. It can be done quickly through the tool. We need not do coding and waste our time and efforts. The ease of learning depends on the person who is learning the product. It depends on whether they come from a developer background. It would be easy to learn if they have some experience in coding and have worked on integrations. I haven’t faced many challenges while scaling our integration solutions with MuleSoft Composer. The drag-and-drop interface has not impacted our project deployment time much. The customer support and price can be improved. Overall, I rate the tool a seven out of ten.

Enhances operational efficiency with valuable prepackaged content and cost-effective pricing
For organizations that operate within an SAP ecosystem, SAP Process Orchestration is recommended due to its cost-effectiveness and the availability of valuable prepackaged content. It is important to consider the needs of your industry, as SAP Process Orchestration may not meet all requirements in consumer-oriented sectors. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The functionality of MuleSoft to connect with any database is the most important feature."
"The solution invokes some RPS from Composer and then sends emails and flat notifications. It helps us integrate with any third-party SAPE or integration tools."
"The product is easy to use. You don't need programming skills to use it."
"The prebuilt connectors have saved our customers a lot of time and money."
"The way Composer organizes and manages integration processes is most beneficial. We can easily monitor what's running and what isn't and troubleshoot any data integration issues."
"The advantage of using MuleSoft as part as the Salesforce ecosystem is that anything new they build is guaranteed to work with the new features that are coming from the other side."
"SAP Process Orchestration is middleware where we are able to manage and interact with everything from a single location. One of the most beneficial areas is monitoring which is very easy because it is all in one place. There are many adapters added recently that can be used for new functionality. The solution is easy to operate and it is more mature than the cloud solution provided by SAP."
"In my opinion, SAP PO is the most mature suite of tools to integrate processes across SAP environments at this moment. It's really unbeatable because it allows you to integrate whatever scenarios you can imagine."
"It provides essential features such as continuous monitoring of all interfaces are crucial for our needs."
"The most valuable features of SAP Process Orchestration are its system monitoring and alerts."
"The initial setup is easy...The solution gets automatically connected. The deployment takes six months. I rate its setup phase a ten out of ten."
"Great monitoring tools and has its own alert framework."
"Orchestration is beneficial for us."
"The solution provides very good and central logging systems. It offers high flexibility with vertical and horizontal extend capacity."

Cons

"This solution could be improved by offering more integrations with other platforms."
"MuleSoft Composer needs to improve its interface and scalability."
"One additional feature they could add might be something like regional prices. Since we're based in Brazil, we pay in dollars but earn in Brazilian Real."
"There are some challenges with API sharing in Composer."
"There is also one limitation. We cannot see logs, latencies, or request counts."
"The technical support team's response time must be improved."
"Some configurations can be a little tricky."
"The solution could improve by making it more user-friendly by limiting the code required. We have to add some code in some cases where we need complex logic or some other functions. If this was able to be done in a more simplified manner then it would save a lot of effort and time."
"The responsiveness of technical support needs to be improved."
"The older version of the solution will no longer be supported."
"The solution needs to move to the cloud."
"It does not have all of the industry-standard solutions available in PO and it is not plug and play, so we have to do a lot of development."
"It is not a scalable solution for the cloud. I would not recommend this for the cloud."
"SAP should improve the user interface, as it often lacks modern features and aesthetic appeal."
