Efficient data management enhances document processing capabilities and integration ease
The data extraction feature is what I prefer most about the KODAK Info Input Solution. I also appreciate the integrations, data validation, and onboarding process. In terms of using the solution's advanced data extraction capabilities, the manual entry during the extraction process makes it easy to extract data from documents, such as from email, scanner, or mobile devices, as well as cloud storage. The extraction of data may also occur on the APR systems, which helps extract the actual data and enter it in the system compared to manual data entry. This automation helps get data directly from other systems and ecosystems where data resides, allowing it to be imported into the same system, where it can be easily validated and directly linked to existing systems. The KODAK Info Input Solution collects data automatically, which saves time, unlike when someone has to enter data manually. It saves approximately 25% of time. Regarding integration with existing systems, KODAK Info Input Solution integrates with most services such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon, as well as other tools such as Salesforce. This integration is easy, and these connectors are straightforward to configure, helping manage documents from all those services. It becomes easy because of its simple connections. The solution's intelligent automation feature is faster compared to other services. Because it is faster and works quickly, it becomes effortless to use the intelligent system since everything operates smoothly upon following commands. The multi-language support feature is particularly useful because some documents are sent and some onboarding processes are done in different languages, making it valuable to understand the documents sent. The multi-language support is important for ensuring compliance with various regulatory requirements because, with the system supporting multiple languages, users can translate various languages and access documents and services from different locations easily, accommodating team members from diverse backgrounds who may not speak English, such as those who only know Chinese or French.

Helped us identify areas where frontline staff aren't following standard procedures or using unexpected systems, giving us better insight into our end users' workflows
To analyze and make sense of the data generated by Kryon process discovery can be a lot of effort. It's not as automatic as some might think. It really depends on how many processes you have and how actively you use them. But the scalability aspect isn't necessarily about deployment or technical maintenance. It's really about how you analyze and gain insights from the data gathering. I'd rate the scalability a seven out of ten because the solution has been scaling well for a long time. It's very easy to deploy. But getting value out of it at scale can be a challenge, just like with any deployment. We use it mainly for process discovery. We actually proceed it from different teams. So, we have 15 licenses that we rotate with different people, actually through different teams. So, we do discovery for the online team; we gather the results after about two weeks to a month. We analyze those results, and then we deploy them again on the analytics team. We regularly deploy it to different teams. So, it's in constant use. It just runs on the systems through discovery mode most of the time.

"What makes KODAK Info Input Solution perfect is that it has comprehensive capabilities, features, and tools including its own printers and scanners that can easily connect and share information."
"We took a very complex business area, and every activity in it which can be done automatically is being replaced by the robot instead of people working on it."
"The thing that we find the most value in is the Process Discovery component and the ability to really see what users are doing on a day-to-day basis. We're starting to make sense of the processes that they're doing and getting visibility into what they're doing. Overall, the Process Discovery is very good."
"The initial setup process is easy."
"We are able to cope with our clients's demands. No matter how much volume they throw at us, we are able to get it done quickly."
"The advanced Excel functionalities are really convenient because we work a lot with spreadsheets. It’s also easy to use the HTML selectors. It’s just a click and it picks it up. There’s not a lot of no hard-coding with it."
"Nintex RPA often includes security features, including encryption and user access controls, which ensure the protection of sensitive data and compliance with security standards."
"Kryon RPA is very stable - we've not had many disruptions, and the product is updated regularly."

Cons

"Integrating KODAK Info Input Solution with other software, such as Laserfiche, presents challenges due to inadequate documentation and an unintuitive web services interface."
"Integrating KODAK Info Input Solution with other software, such as Laserfiche, presents challenges due to inadequate documentation and an unintuitive web services interface."
"The KODAK Info Input Solution can improve its connection with scanners. It connects most effectively with Kodak's own scanners, specifically the S S S SMAX Scanners, while connections with other brands, such as Epson or HP, can take more time."
"The only area I think KODAK Info Input Solution could improve on is making their user interface more user-friendly and offering full customer customization of features."
"Sometimes there is an accuracy problem with KODAK Info Input Solution. Sometimes while connecting to the database, it shows errors, such as SQL login failed, your port is blocked, or not reachable."
"The most significant area for improvement in the KODAK Info Input Solution is its ability to support custom definitions and auto-learn."
"The most significant area for improvement in the KODAK Info Input Solution is its ability to support custom definitions and auto-learn."
"When a project is very big, a lot of memory is taken up. Then, machines don't have enough memory. This could be improved upon to be more efficient."
"What needs improvement in Kryon RPA is the support. Sometimes, the solution has problems, so I contacted support, but I didn't receive immediate help from the team. You have to wait a while before the problem gets solved. This happens a few times in terms of getting cases solved. It would also be better if Kryon RPA had a cloud version because currently, from what I know, it only has an on-premise version, though I could be wrong about that. There isn't any additional feature I'd like added to Kryon RPA because it's a good service, but the support is very, very bad, so that area could be improved."
"What we are lacking is OCR, the ability to read text. We would like it to have the ability to take a page which is free text and analyze it, and then for the robot to know what to do next. This ability does not exist in Kryon products."
"I would expect that in the first year there is no ROI. It has to be measured over three or five years."
"Often, it's difficult to loop through a large data set unless the bot has access to the Excel file with specific settings and shortcodes."
"We have found some difficulties regarding the integration with legacy systems where the screen has elements in the Hebrew language. The connection to Hebrew, right-to-left systems, is more challenging."
"Extracting meaningful data requires significant effort. You need a dedicated business analyst who can understand the output."
"I have seen some very minor occurrences where Kryon's interactions with Microsoft Office might cause the robot to hang. However, it is about one to two percent of the time where we are seeing this happen. It is such a small percentage that it's not even something that we are overly worried about. This would be where they might have some stability issues, but it could be the Microsoft Office API or how they are interacting together."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Although KODAK Info Input Solution's pricing is competitive within the industry's consumption-based model, its approach is overly complex."
"The pricing of KODAK Info Input Solution in Mexico is very expensive, and the government's purchasing process requires convincing many stakeholders."
"Compared to its competitors, Kryon RPA's pricing is very competitive."
"It is very cheap. I would rate the pricing a three out of ten, with ten being expensive."
"For an unattended robot it's $6000 a month."
"The product has reasonable pricing."
"Can't beat the price... There are different pricing levels for every bot or unattended bot. You can buy however many you want. You'll need an additional virtual machine for it to work on."
"We have a yearly license. It's about $5,000 per year."
"We have been able to alleviate two FTEs, which was a big savings for us. We were able to reuse those resources in other locations. It is over 5000 hours a year in total savings."
"We've more than broken even over on the license. Year to date, we are at $120,000 in savings."
