Suitable for a small-scale business but not evolved enough for a large enterprise
The best thing with that Jacada is that they are a repository builder, which we use for our assessment to gauge and match screens. Jacada has evolved, but I'm not using the latest version. Technically we use our internal product more, which is iAutomate. We also use UiPath and Automation Anywhere…

Significantly reduces manual effort and improves team workflows through automated ticketing
We've used Agent Builder, IXP, and Maestro for orchestration. We have created context-grounded searches or chatbots using context grounding, and we also use context grounding within an Agentic flow where a bot or agent reads ServiceNow tickets to determine whether it has been assigned to the right work group. If it has not been assigned correctly due to human error, it automatically reassigns it to the right group. I would assess Agentic AI's ability to extract data points as effective. We created an agent for the purpose of extracting data, though not in a document. We created what we call an email conversation agent that engages with a customer, vendor, or someone in an email conversation with a set goal of extracting specific data points for an action to be performed subsequently. The one automation we have deployed in production involves the agent interacting with team members to collect data points and create a ServiceNow ticket. We appreciate almost all features of UiPath Platform, with one of the most successful ones being the use of Coms Mining. Most of the new features related to AI have all been good, and we use Agentic. We have already created a few agents and have started to use Maestro for a few flows, though we are not yet there to orchestrate an end-to-end workflow. We have good ROI from the automations we have developed with UiPath Platform, which far exceeds the investment in the platform. It has saved us tens of thousands of hours in manual effort, making the team members happy to pursue other things of value.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The initial setup was fairly straightforward."
"The best thing with Jacada is that they are a repository builder, which we use for our assessment to gauge and match screens."
"Screen scraping credentials of whatever features that it has. The robot can log into the system, scrape the data, and enter the data into the system. This eliminates a lot of the manual work that the team had to do, which has improved the performance. Our teams used to do a lot of data entry, and this repetitive work has been reduced. The same resource can now work on some high-end work."
"We're very, very happy with the product, it does exactly what we want it to do, and it allows us to sell UiPath, or sell RPA in the way that we want to."
"We use UiPath to resolve customer complaints by creating buttons that link to back-end integrations, so employees can see information very quickly, reducing a lot of complications and giving us good speed and accuracy to improve all the bot performance."
"I like UiPath's framework. It offers a modern design experience, which makes it easy to do different activities."
"UiPath has taken automation to a pinnacle of excellence by mixing technology, attention to detail, and keen observation."
"It's really easy to learn."
"The most valuable features of UiPath are the drag and drop activities."
"From our main systems, it integrates a platform for our citizens, sending them notifications."

Cons

"When we first started using Jacada, the technical support was not good at all; however, they were just getting started then."
"They need to create a workflow system."
"I would like to see some integration, or ease of integration, with APIs, so we can automate stuff faster."
"To provide detailed analysis, there has to be some improvements so we can provide drill-down data to developers showing, "Hey, this has gone wrong.""
"I would like more defined processes for around use cases. This might be helpful, as it is more general at the moment."
"The on-prem orchestrator was an issue for us."
"There are some enhancements that can be made within Orchestrator, such as the addition of new dashboards that provide us insights into processes that are already running, which would help us a lot."
"It's really hard for me to get all the machine learning and AI parts. I think maybe that's going to get a little bit easier for me to understand how to really use it in the company. I don't really know what to do with it at the moment. I think that is something that could be improved."
"They can perhaps make the customizations and configurations for reuse easier for the developers, as it would help to expedite things."
"The company needs to continue to develop artifical intelligence capabilities."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"UiPath is more affordable than Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism, which is the most expensive."
"The pricing differs on the requirements. If there is a huge purchase, then we get a discount. There is not a fixed pricing of the product."
"Overall, the model is fine except for AI units. It is usage-based, which makes sense if you are processing documents, and you have one unit per page. It is the hosting cost of the models where there are issues, so we are running into potentially designing poor solutions because we are having to say, "If the documents are very similar but different enough, even though you would prefer to use two models, maybe consider not using two because of the hosting costs.""
"The price for the attended bot is between $1,800 and $3,000. The unattended bot was $8,000 last year. Orchestrator is around $20,000."
"It is based on the use case. If the use case needs several bots, it gets expensive."
"I was not involved in the pricing negotiations, but as far as I understand, my team was happy with the pricing. So, I assume that its price is moderate and competitive. It isn't highly-priced."
"Given how cheap it is to initially buy the product, the licensing methodology that they have in terms of renewing every year is appropriate. Later on, if they start charging more early on, for deployment, buying the license, and deploying it initially, then having a lower maintenance fee might be more appropriate. Now, with the scale they are at, it is an appropriate way to do the licensing."
"Compared to other RPA tools, UiPath is a much more expensive solution."
