It facilitates processes by sending notifications to relevant individuals who need to take action regarding requests. There is a very good approval hierarchy in place. Ivanti Automation significantly simplifies IT infrastructure processes, handling access requests and facilitating various employee requests. Pros

"Ivanti Automation significantly simplifies IT infrastructure processes, handling access requests and facilitating various employee requests."
"It's easy for the IT admins at the company to use. It isn't hard to understand and there are lots of features you can use out of the box. If a feature isn't available in Ivanti Automation, you can always script it."

"We have excellent technical support. They have always been helpful when we have needed them."
"The most valuable feature is how easy it makes it to manage the VM."

"The technical support services are excellent."
"The solution was easy to install."
"It is very stable. I have been using vCenter Orchestrator from version three now to six plus."
"The platform integration is straightforward, especially with recent updates, making connecting with various systems and streamlining workflows easier."

Cons

"Ivanti Automation should deliver more fixed templates for standard use cases or standard procedures."
"The user interface could be more futuristic and modernized in terms of styling and colors."
"Their cloud relay feature needs to improve to compete with other products in cloud solutions like Azure and AWS. It should be easier to deploy or provision images in the cloud with Ivanti Automation. Better Azure integration would also help."
"The user interface could be more futuristic and modernized in terms of styling and colors."
"We encounter challenges related to the renewal of support subscriptions."
"Storage has room for improvement. It's a big problem for our solution. The interface also needs improvement, it should be simplified."
"Mainly VMware integrates with other products, but there is no easy way to link with other products from a different vendor. We can integrate with other products from the same vendors fairly well, but if they could make it so integration is easier with other vendors, that would really help."
"The response time of vCenter Orchestrator's support could be improved."
"When the SSO certificate needs to be renewed, the upgrading and testing are quite complicated."

"I would like to have an interface that can manage both on-premises and cloud solutions from a single console, where we can easily manage the resources that are being used or at least applications. Whereby clicking here and there from on-premises to cloud, or cloud to on-premises, depending on the requirements. If that can be accomplished, it will be extremely beneficial."
