The filters could be more efficient but the reports are clear and precise.
The filters could be more efficient. For example, when I send a campaign, I usually send it again seven days later. Sometimes, I update the database of emails in-between these mailings, and therefore, I have to re-enter all the filters of the first mailing, and it can take a very long time depending of the campaign.

Mailchimp could be more user-friendly for setting up WordPress websites. Some of the complex settings can be time-consuming to configure. So, setting up Mailchimp for WordPress websites can be time-consuming for an average user but not necessarily difficult. It's time-consuming, especially when adding custom code to email campaigns. It requires some experience and knowledge to do it effectively.

Cons

"The filters could be more efficient."
"All Constant Contact wants to do is keep you on a monthly subscription, so if you only want to send out emails on a quarterly basis you must either pay every month you do not use the product, or you must cancel your subscription and then re-open an account every quarter."
"There are certain hiccups in the program that can be improved to make it more user friendly."

"Could use better search and certain editing traits."
"When I started using Constant Contact creating email was very flaky, in terms of crashes and usability (perhaps compared to Weebly etc.). It has improved, however, still needs improvement and email creation still seems clunky and limited compared to other online solutions or website building tools."
"MailChimp should have a better offering for ready made modern templates but this is usually supplied by the community."
"It would be great to be able to create broader segments for campaigns."
"Sadly now Mailchimp has started charging for the use of the auto-responder (automation) emails, so it's lost it's edge for the free services."
"It gives me errors every time I try to send a newsletter to more than 400 people at a time."
"The solution could be easier to use."
"Pretty much everything, and the RSS campaign is the only reason we stick with MailChimp."
"While it has many capabilities it could be more user-friendly."
"They have poor inbox visibility, and many of the emails went to the spam folder."
