Good for digital marketing purposes, such as creating and managing email campaigns
Mailchimp could be more user-friendly for setting up WordPress websites. Some of the complex settings can be time-consuming to configure. So, setting up Mailchimp for WordPress websites can be time-consuming for an average user but not necessarily difficult. It's time-consuming, especially when adding custom code to email campaigns. It requires some experience and knowledge to do it effectively.

A good software for email marketing that integrates well with other third-party software, but its UI should be improved
I have found two or three issues with Zoho Campaigns. If we add any email content, Zoho Campaigns takes a lot of time to review by the back end. Two years back, a client set up Zoom Campaigns, and the lead was not entered into the campaign. The flow and everything else was fine, but entering the journey or the campaign took time. My company lost a customer because it took two weeks to review the emails we entered into that content. Zoho Campaigns has to improve its UI because sometimes it won't load the campaigns, and the software is a little lagging. So that's why people have started moving to Zoho marketing automation instead of Zoho Campaigns. Zoho Campaigns should include immediate sync for the deals model because it's still not there. Whenever a lead is entered, it is immediately synced, but there is no immediate sync for the deals.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"There was no email marketing at our company before MailChimp, so this product allowed us to begin email marketing which is less costly and less resource intensive."
"It’s very easy, and you can start using it without being an expert in e-marketing."
"With RSS campaigns, nobody has to login every morning to send the daily news email to 19K readers."
"The ease of use and price point enables us to scale our email initiatives efficiently as we grow."
"Customer service of this product is excellent."
"MailChimp is solid and easy to use for clients, but has all the power we need to build great campaigns, A/B test them, get them delivered, tracked, and report."
"If it's for a small business sending out a monthly newsletter, it's a great solution."
"Now, with Mailchimp it is so much easier to send mailings to our members."
"The solution generates a good return on investment."
"Zoho Campaigns is a great product. It's easy to use. Zoho Campaigns is integrated with my CRM, so I can see everything happening within my company from the dashboard. I can manage and group my contacts and automate reporting. I enjoy checking on the metrics for my campaign. It also gives me the option of linking with Google Analytics, but I like Azure analytics better."
"The most valuable feature of Zoho Campaigns is its ability to set up chain campaigns depending on the user's reaction."
"It is a very reliable and stable tool."
"Putting the campaigns together on Zoho is reasonably straightforward. They have a little campaign builder tool that works very well as long as you don't want the campaign to be too sophisticated."
"The initial setup is easy."
"The out-of-the-box integration with all the other Zoho applications is the most valuable feature of the solution."
"It's a very simple solution for email."

Cons

"Its admin interface, particularly for setting up a new campaign, is not the most intuitive."
"Customer service: Not timely, but somewhat effective when on paid plans."
"The WYSIWYG editor doesn't work in the email client that IBM uses, so I've had to completely code out the email."
"List management could be more scalable."
"Mailchimp could be more user-friendly for setting up WordPress websites. Some of the complex settings can be time-consuming to configure. So, setting up Mailchimp for WordPress websites can be time-consuming for an average user."
"It gives me errors every time I try to send a newsletter to more than 400 people at a time."
"MailChimp’s reports on audience engagement are not the most robust."
"Pretty much everything, and the RSS campaign is the only reason we stick with MailChimp."
"My usage is limited to the basic features."
"The emails were going to spam a lot despite us making various changes, and it appeared to be more because it was being sent from Zoho than anything else."
"They could get better at dealing with spam. They need to improve their anti-spam capabilities."
"When we use Zoho Campaigns, our emails often get routed to the spam folder instead of the inbox. For example, people who use Gmail to receive our newsletter will often miss it because it was sent to their spam folder. Many of our clients aren't seeing our work. We compared it to another solution, and the open rate was much higher because the emails went directly to the inbox."
"Its deliverability could be improved."
"There is room for improvement with integration with other applications like MailChimp."
"The reports are not so clear."
"The support team takes a while to respond to our request."

"The solution's price is reasonable."
"The tool is priced less compared to other applications."
