We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most useful thing is that it provides a snapshot of your environment in about 15 minutes. It is stable, and it always works. It is also scalable and easy to set up.""The most valuable feature is the visibility of what is happening with our business as well as the good reporting and dashboards."

"I like the fact that it gives you the possibility to set the data out of the customer on-premises site and to have an off-site copy in your Cloud Data Center.""The most valuable feature is the snapshot capability.""I've found flexibility to the most valuable feature. I also like that it's scalable and that the stability is okay.""One of the most valuable features of Veeam Cloud Connect is it does not require the use of an extremely fast internet connection for it to work. The backup process is automated which is great.""The most valuable features of Veeam Cloud Connect are its ease of use and the portal is very useful.""A really good feature is backing up the emails of the company."

Cons
"It is for site-to-site replication. When something goes wrong on your site, you only get 15 minutes before it also goes wrong on your replicated site. There should be some way to be able to say that we want to restore it, but we want to restore it to the version from yesterday. It should support versioning. I would also like to see real-time scanning for advanced threat protection, more straightforward billing, and quicker turnaround on the tech support.""The pricing predictability and clarity around the final cost of the plan of this solution could be improved."

More Azure Site Recovery Cons →

"Basically, a huge amount of storage capacity can be required in certain cases.""There are some issues with the cloud providers for Veeam Cloud Connect that do not support all the features.""The dashboard could be more intuitive.""The bandwidth optimization needs to be improved and have better efficiency so that you send fewer amounts of data from one site to the other.""I think Veeam Cloud Connect could be more stable, scalable, and secure. I think better pricing is needed."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "It should have more straightforward billing. The billing was what got funky. It was really cheap. We would pay based on the usage. We paid around $225 a month for site-to-site replication."

  • "The licensing fee is on a monthly basis."
  • "We are looking into how we can extend the license of this product."
  • "The price of the solution could be cheaper. There are monthly or yearly subscription options available. The annual subscription tends to be cheaper."
  • "It's not the cheapest solution on the market but it's reliable, so we find it cost-effective."
