We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Azure Site Recovery is an easy-to-use and fairly stable solution for disaster recovery.""Our primary use case is for disaster recovery and business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR).""Provides generally good performance, from protection to production to failover to data recovery.""What I love about Azure Site Recovery is its simplicity for basic configurations.""The solution is very easy to use.""The most useful thing is that it provides a snapshot of your environment in about 15 minutes. It is stable, and it always works. It is also scalable and easy to set up.""They're moving a lot of their workload to cloud and aiming for a seamlessly integrated product.""We use the solution across hospitality and healthcare domains. We use it for custom development. It helps us develop a seamless omnichannel for the healthcare industry."

"The most valuable feature is the snapshot capability.""The solution is already far more advanced than our customers require. It offers advanced scripting and automation pre-testing to support the custom library and custom tasks.""A really good feature is backing up the emails of the company.""The administration and management integrate with multiple solutions, not just with one or two environments, even if they're not VMware products.""This solution works really well and it is simple to deploy.""It hasn't given us any issues so far.""The most valuable feature of Veeam Cloud Connect is the server backups, such as the Microsoft Windows server. Additionally, the updates provide useful enterprise functionality.""The most valuable features are the fast replication and recovery of data."

Cons
"The product's performance is an area of concern where improvements are required.""The tool should improve synchronization.""It could include more of a backup and recovery.""The immutable backup could be better.""Could have more integration with other platforms.""The pricing predictability and clarity around the final cost of the plan of this solution could be improved.""The support team took a lot of time to respond and was not very professional.""The primary area for improvement in Azure Site Recovery is its pricing."

More Azure Site Recovery Cons →

"The solution needs to be more scalable. There should be no reason to set up Veeam Cloud Connect and have 10 servers in order to have a cloud backup. The initial setup could be easier.""The flexibility results in more administrative GUI. The GUI needs improvement.""We need the solution to offer IT storage.""It would be helpful if the enterprise edition was more complete. It's not as complete as the enterprise plus edition is. For instance, in the enterprise version, we can only use one accelerator with the cloud provider. It means if I have my Cloud Connect, I cannot connect another site of mine with another cloud connect and use an accelerator of Veeam. They should change this.""Pricing could be improved and I also think archiving could be improved.""Some of the features I'd like added to the solution would be coming up in version 12, so the only area for improvement I saw in Veeam Cloud Connect was the need to have more support for object storage.""We encountered some issues with stability at the beginning.""I would like to see more advanced training courses made available to cover complicated use cases."
