A great collaboration service for small organizations
The synchronization should be simplified. Other solutions like Dropbox and OneDrive have apps. I tried using the mobile version, but it didn't work properly, that needs to be improved. It was cumbersome. It's a good solution for a small organization like ours, but it really depends on your use-cases and the size of your organization. I had a very bitter experience with their mobile app. It was challenging to even download it and once I did, I wasn't even able to log into my system. The mobile app needs to improved for easy use.

Email collaboration and accessibility have improved team productivity
The valuable features include the email service, email updates, and Google Drive. People are given email access to Google Drive. The team can share manual files and work accordingly. They can access different teams from anywhere, collectively putting files, sharing them, and managing them. Additionally, the manufacturing product does not require any downgrades. It works fine and continuously for the last three or four years. Users can access their emails from anywhere in their browser without a laptop or can directly access from Gmail. This is helpful for salespeople.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"This solution is great for inviting and sharing documents with other users."
"The initial setup is easy because it's all pre-configured."
"It's certainly easier to meet. We have offices around the world and the ability to have a company meeting on Google Meet platform makes it a whole lot easier to actually have everybody virtually in one room at the same time."
"G Suite Enterprise provides many features, such as business increased search visibility, email address, and domain. It's a large whole ecosystem that is the major benefit. You can manage your whole team and have many tools. Over seven years, the solution has gone through some drastic upgrades and improvements which are done automatically, I do not have to manual upgrade."
"Valuable features of the solution are that it's simple and effective."
"The solution offers a workflow where we can collaborate and share documents. Its most valuable features are Gmail and Google Drive. Google Drive is great for file collaboration. It improves productivity. The product is on the cloud; we don't have to connect to the office through a VPN."
"It's more open than Microsoft and easy to use."
"It's secure. It offers data security and user privacy. I use it for personal purposes. The interface is okay, and it's easy to use."
"It's a secure solution that enables you to choose those you wish to share with."

Cons

"I had a very bitter experience with their mobile app."
"There's a bit of a learning curve."
"And I think Google Translate could add more features. For example, it could be integrated when typing in a document or a web browser like Grammarly."
"G Suite is not as powerful as Microsoft Office Suite, so sometimes we have to change to Excel and PowerPoint."
"The UI could be more graphic and sassy, but otherwise, it is quite functional."
"Some people complain that Google Mail is inflexible. It was advanced 10 years ago, but other solutions are cleaner and clearer."
"There could be more options in Google G Suite. They can include HD calling for Google Meet. The layout portion in the calendar for Google G Suite can be better designed. When we get into the calendar and start scheduling meetings, we do have few hiccups here and there. The layout can be a little easier. People from different backgrounds are finding it a little bit tough to understand. It should be more intuitive. At the moment, it has a completely white background. To do power saving, it would be good if they can release a darker background. There are a few issues with the formatting of Google Docs when they get converted to Microsoft docs. It would be amazing if they can resolve it in the next release."
"I would rate the stability a five out of ten."
"Better integration without visual misrepresentation with the Microsoft suite is required."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It's cheaper compared to similar products available"
"You pay for Google Workspace based on your usage and the apps you use, but in my case, it's free, but if I used it a lot more, I'd probably need to pay. 15GB is enough for me, but I see myself upgrading and paying the additional charges for more storage regularly."
"The pricing is very high, although I cannot tell if this is the result of the Indian vendors artificially inflating it."
"The pricing is a bit on the higher side than normal. For a basic Google account it costs $100, but Enterprise is %150."
"The overall cost is very reasonable when considering all of the security features that you are receiving. It is a bit more expensive than our local host and/or other hosting companies that are available on the market, but it is worth it."
"It's about $8.30 up a user per month."
"The price of Google Workspace is reasonable. I pay less than 100 a month."
"There are different versions of the solution available, such as premium."
"The price of the solution can vary."
