User interface streamlines task automation and improves efficiency
akaBot made a noticeable difference at Wika because it is lightweight and easy to use, and moreover, akaBot has a forum to answer many questions. The ease of use stands out because the design of akaBot is very friendly. The best features that akaBot offers in my experience include the UI automation in the browser or in the Windows application. What I appreciate most about the UI automation in browsers or Windows applications is the auto-generate selector in a browser and Windows application. This feature makes a difference because it reduced most of the time developing the bot.

Significantly reduces manual effort and improves team workflows through automated ticketing
We've used Agent Builder, IXP, and Maestro for orchestration. We have created context-grounded searches or chatbots using context grounding, and we also use context grounding within an Agentic flow where a bot or agent reads ServiceNow tickets to determine whether it has been assigned to the right work group. If it has not been assigned correctly due to human error, it automatically reassigns it to the right group. I would assess Agentic AI's ability to extract data points as effective. We created an agent for the purpose of extracting data, though not in a document. We created what we call an email conversation agent that engages with a customer, vendor, or someone in an email conversation with a set goal of extracting specific data points for an action to be performed subsequently. The one automation we have deployed in production involves the agent interacting with team members to collect data points and create a ServiceNow ticket. We appreciate almost all features of UiPath Platform, with one of the most successful ones being the use of Coms Mining. Most of the new features related to AI have all been good, and we use Agentic. We have already created a few agents and have started to use Maestro for a few flows, though we are not yet there to orchestrate an end-to-end workflow. We have good ROI from the automations we have developed with UiPath Platform, which far exceeds the investment in the platform. It has saved us tens of thousands of hours in manual effort, making the team members happy to pursue other things of value.

Pros

"The cost is affordable, and it fits our requirements."
"akaBot made a noticeable difference at Wika because it is lightweight and easy to use, and moreover, akaBot has a forum to answer many questions."
"Some of our ROI is quite dramatic, as one project that would have required a team of six or seven staff working solidly for a couple of weeks was handled by a robot that, after a couple of weeks of configuration, was able to pay for itself in a matter of hours once it was done."
"We have nothing bad to say about UiPath."
"The automation-creation process is quite easy and the accuracy is quite good. That last aspect is critically important... and we have been getting that so far."
"UiPath's most valuable features are its UI automation activities like scraping and manipulating data. We need to scrape the data before we can manipulate it or save it in another application. I think that part is very valuable and important."
"Reduced FTE and a significant reduction in errors."
"Ease of use and speed of development are the most valuable features."
"The solution helps reduce human error."
"There is nothing comparable in the industry that provides the same ease of use, great community, and good products."

Cons

"If they can provide more intelligent automation, it would be beneficial."
"I used UiPath before akaBot, and I think UiPath has more features than akaBot."
"The quizzes were outdated. Some of the responses that are being rated aren't accurate."
"With artificial intelligence or natural language processing, we need to get in touch with the servers, however, we cannot do it without getting a proper license."
"The upgrade process could be improved so that it does not require download and reinstall."
"UiPath Platform could be improved with better UX and design; it should be more self-explanatory how to use its features."
"What we have in mind in terms of what the robots could do for us is significantly more than what UiPath does now, but it takes more work."
"The user interface can be improved and the version control can be better."
"I did not find support helpful."
"In the next release of this solution, I would like to see better scheduling options."
