I am the ERP administrator in a customer-side company, and in my position, I'm responsible for the system in the organization.

I'm the first line of support of my company for any issues in the system, and I joined my company since they are going in the implementation phase, being the focal point between my company, which is not expert in the ERP system, and the vendor side. I started as a project manager for the project, a technical project manager, and after going live, I'm now the first line of support on the system.

My experience is only with Microsoft Dynamics and Business Central. I work with Microsoft Dynamics and have been working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central for six years, and I've been working with Dynamics 365 for two years. There is a huge difference in complexity and functionality between the two systems; Dynamics 365 is designed for enterprise companies, so it covers about 90% of customer needs without workarounds, which I previously had to implement in Business Central.

The most valuable features I have found in Microsoft Dynamics are the finance modules.

I'm currently working with Microsoft Dynamics 365, the latest version of Microsoft. It's a cloud version, so it doesn't have any versions.

The dashboards are created by Power BI and published only in Microsoft Dynamics from Power BI. All the dashboards we use are generated by Power BI, so the creation is in the Power BI application while being published in the UI of Microsoft Dynamics.

I work with Business Central as an ERP Administrator, and I believe all businesses in Egypt will use Azure.

I would love to improve the dimension sector. Microsoft Dynamics uses dimensions only as financial dimensions, not in the supply chain modules, and this leads to a very poor experience with reporting capabilities across all modules, unlike Microsoft Dynamics NAV, which allows for dimension reporting from any module.

I have been working with Microsoft Dynamics for two years.

I see Microsoft Dynamics as stable and reliable. I haven't faced any outages or abrupt interruptions.

Regarding scalability, I think it's not scalable in Egypt due to pricing being the main concern.

In Egypt, we typically contact the third-party partners from whom we have licenses, not Microsoft directly. I haven't reached out to Microsoft directly for support.

Pricing and licensing for Microsoft Dynamics are too expensive.

When obtaining a license for Dynamics 365, the finance module requires 20 users at first, which may be more than needed as some users may not require all 20, making it difficult for businesses with limited user requirements.

Microsoft Dynamics is my comfort zone in the application in the finance module. I am familiar with analytics features such as Microsoft Power BI.

Regarding sales forecasting, we mainly use Power BI in our analysis for sales, not the application reports. It's a limitation only in the reporting because Microsoft Power BI is excellent for creating reports or customizing dashboards; Microsoft Dynamics focuses on functions, not reporting.

In Egypt, we haven't used the AI features yet, so it's too soon to judge this feature. The pricing structure is clearly defined, but it's just too expensive.

So far, there are no specific issues regarding the cloud. Even with businesses in sectors that can afford it, retail solutions in Microsoft Dynamics are not as strong compared to LS Business Central.

On a scale of 1-10, I rate Microsoft Dynamics a 7 out of 10.

I'm working mostly with all of them within the cloud and the Defender for Endpoint. Essentially, I need one defender per technology because if I want to have a Defender for World of Warcraft, then this defender has to know what a gold mine is. Or a defender for Counter-Strike has to know what my knapsack and my STG 77 or Kel-Tec RDB rifles are, stuff like that. It has to know those resources. And a Defender for SQL has to know what an SQL table is. So, it's an adapter to the unique structure of the resource I want to protect.

If I want to have a defender for a printer, I have to know what changing paper means. If I want to change the paper for an NTFS file system, there is no paper to change.

I have been also dealing with Microsoft Dynamics. Dynamics is a SharePoint-based technology, so any defender understanding the SharePoint infrastructure will do. Essentially, that is being handled by Microsoft Defender for Office 365, because all of that is, with the exception of Exchange, SharePoint-based.

I find the Power Apps integration and the standardized table structure most valuable. When Wernher von Braun left NASA in 1972 or so and retired, almost nothing was working anymore at NASA, especially not the Space Shuttle, the new Space Shuttle program. The problem was that he was organizing all of that stuff in his brain. He had an eidetic memory. So, the Pentagon said, 'If those people don't grow on trees, we have to formalize that one.' That was the beginning of the formalization of directory servers, such as Active Directory, which is a direct follow-up of that development.

With Microsoft Dynamics, I have the same for ERP systems because any ERP system has to have the notion of what an earnings report is, what a contact is, stuff like that. And that one has been standardized in specific table structures I can use. Of course, I can build my own table structures encompassing that one, but that's unnecessary work.

Microsoft Dynamics could be improved in anything I can take as an ERP system, be it for insurance contracts, be it for my bookkeeping, whatever. Whenever I have legal entities sending around money and needing to have a ledger about that, I can use Dynamics for that one. It's Microsoft's version of SAP.

They could add functionalities in the next release of Microsoft Dynamics that essentially automize demands of customers who have no idea whatsoever how to program that stuff into letting the large language models program that stuff. Satya Nadella switched over to have an operating CEO and he is now the CEO of the AI development. He even said that Software-as-a-Service systems are going away because what these Software-as-a-Service systems was, was that they were implementing interfaces to the underlying data structure, and that can be done by agents created by artificial intelligences. I am going to say, 'I want to have an ERP system which is capable of sending out money.' It's creating it. And if I say, 'It has to do that internationally with forex support,' then if it understands the complexity of forex support, then it is going to amend my system.

There are areas that still need some improvements, such as the simplicity of use and stability. I could be implementing the management of SCADA data for production plants, and that would be nice.

I have been familiar with Microsoft Dynamics for three years.

These defenders are hybrid artificial intelligences trying to counter-hack opponents trying to hack you, and they are similar to what Skynet did in Terminator 3.

I could be implementing the management of SCADA data, so product, the management data with time series from product plants. Say I want to produce a color pigment, and I want to know how large the opacity of my pigment is, what the temperature is, how much of the color pigment I have been producing within the last batch, how much electrical current or some gases I have been pumping into it. So, measurement data. If I am a doctor, I want to have my ECG and EEG data in it. I want to have my body temperature, my blood pressure, stuff like that. Anything I can measure with my smartwatch. Managing that one would be nice.

I rate Microsoft Dynamics as a clear 10 out of 10.

I am a customer of Microsoft Dynamics.

My major use case for Microsoft Dynamics is for the CRM and ERP.

Microsoft Dynamics helps to improve sales forecasting as one of my use cases is CRM. Regarding Microsoft Dynamics sales forecasting, it involves the right set of customers who are willing to open accounts with the company.

I work with real-time analytics in Microsoft Dynamics. I have Microsoft Dynamics solution in the cloud.

In Microsoft Dynamics, once it is fine-tuned, we are able to know all aspects of our organization, ERP and CRM, in one window, including the important things and important reports.

From my experience, what really stands out in Microsoft Dynamics is that it has many features and is easy to customize. If it is customized according to the right requirement, then I am saving a lot of time and it is very convenient.

The customizable dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics are good, pretty good. We are satisfied with that.

I assess the integrations of Microsoft Dynamics with Office 365 and LinkedIn as easy. We are not connected with LinkedIn, but we are connected with Office 365.

In Microsoft Dynamics, once it is fine-tuned, we are able to know all aspects of our organization, ERP and CRM, in one window, including the important things and important reports.

I see no areas for improvements in Microsoft Dynamics. I am happy with the product.

Regarding Microsoft Dynamics, if I would mention something related to UI, provider, and scalability aspects, only the cost comes to mind for improvement.

I have been working with Microsoft Dynamics for five years.

The solution of Microsoft Dynamics is usually stable but I see some glitches sometimes, very rarely.

Regarding the types of glitches in Microsoft Dynamics, I cannot specify exactly, but they might be related to customization errors or downtime. However, these issues are very rare.

Microsoft Dynamics is scalable for me and it is easy to scale.

I have experience with technical support from Microsoft.

I would rate my experience with technical support from Microsoft as seven out of ten points because sometimes it takes time to escalate issues inside Microsoft and get them resolved.

When rating the cost of Microsoft Dynamics from 1 to 10, where one is very cheap and ten is very expensive, I would give it a nine.

I just started working with the AI part in Microsoft Dynamics.

On a scale of 1-10, I rate Microsoft Dynamics an 8.

The main use case for Microsoft Dynamics in my organization is CRM mainly.

What I appreciate about this product is that it is easy to use. Since we use Microsoft for email and much of our work from the Office 365 suite, it integrates seamlessly.

In terms of integration, it is very good; pretty much anything you want, it integrates effectively.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM tools help my organization improve sales forecasting by organizing the information. It manages our very complex global setup with multiple units and lines of business, rolling up into hundreds or thousands of employees at a time.

I would improve Microsoft Dynamics in many areas, especially regarding form completion and interface design.

I have been working with the Dynamics CRM part for a year and a half from an internal perspective with direct usage. From a client perspective, I have worked with it for the last five or six years.

I would rate Microsoft support and technical support as difficult. We have not had to access support yet, but I expect it to be at least a 9 or 10.

At least 50-plus people from my organization took part in the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics, possibly more.

I am more of a user of the implemented product regarding the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics; I was not involved in the installation.

At this point, I do not assess the impact of Dynamics' AI-driven automation on operational efficiency or effectiveness. It is not something we are utilizing, and it is not showing up in our business process for sales management.

Microsoft Dynamics has brought positive impact to my company as it loads fast and has all the basic functionality implemented correctly, with good integration into other systems.

We are a Microsoft Dynamics solution partner. We use all the tools of Microsoft Dynamics, including sales.

We use Microsoft Dynamics with Office 365 and LinkedIn, and while we do not use Sales Navigator, it is tightly integrated with Outlook and L365.

We use Microsoft Dynamics real-time analytics features.

The metrics that have been most impactful for us are mainly used by the finance team as they use it to calculate the profit, loss, the outstanding, and other areas.

We are using Microsoft Dynamics CRM tools to help our organization improve sales.

The interface of Microsoft Dynamics and the customizable dashboards are good features, as the interface is user-friendly and customization and configuration features are easy to use.

I assess the impact of the AI-driven automation as quite helpful, because whenever we have a meeting, we get a summary of the discussion we had with the previous prospect.

The pricing of Microsoft Dynamics is quite high compared to other tools available in the market.

In the future, I am expecting additional features such as sequencing, and there are many features we would like to see, including WhatsApp integration available by default, which would be a great help because it is not currently available by default.

I have been working with Microsoft Dynamics for ten years, but currently, I have more than 15 years of experience.

We have not faced any issues with Microsoft Dynamics, and we do not see any area for improvement because we keep getting updates and everything is working well.

Their technical support is good because when we raise a ticket, we get a response within 24 hours.

The initial setup of Microsoft Dynamics was straightforward as we started with the basic, and now, as per the requirement, we keep upgrading and introducing new features to the team.

I would rate Microsoft Dynamics as a nine out of ten, and if we forgot about the price, if the price was in the budget, I would have rated it a ten.

I work on Microsoft Dynamics 365.

For CRM purposes, we use Microsoft Dynamics 365.

We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 as a CRM, and for Microsoft, we use Power BI and other daily activities such as Excel and Word. These are some tools or software from Microsoft that we use.

As for working with services such as Synapse Analytics for reporting or Azure, we do not use these. Our organization is a service provider for Azure. We are a gold partner for Microsoft. We provide services for implementation and migration of Microsoft Dynamics. For our management concerns, we use CRM and Power BI and other tools for our daily business needs.

We might be using Azure, but as a sales operation professional and researcher, I don't use Azure. I use mostly the tools that I have mentioned.

I am both a service provider and a customer with Microsoft Dynamics.

The best advantage of Microsoft Dynamics, from my personal experience, is the feature of creating activities inside the CRM to keep track of all customers or prospects whom we are targeting, and the companies we want to work with. Keeping track of activities, emails, and calls helps sales professionals maintain records of each customer and lead.

I am not satisfied with the customized dashboard because there are many things that Microsoft could improve with their dashboards. Microsoft needs to work on the dashboard part for the CRM especially.

The implementation partner should improve because in my organization, the company that implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM has not done a good job. Microsoft should know about their end customers, how they are doing, and what issues they are facing.

Regarding integration with Office 365 and other Microsoft products, the Dynamics integration is good; there's no loophole between the connections.

We are not using LinkedIn integration.

Microsoft should have keen observation about their end customers, not just their partners. There are many partners globally, such as Gold partners or Platinum partners, and not everyone is accurate while implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Microsoft should observe how end customers are using their product and provide tutorials so customers can communicate their needs to vendors or third-party partners. Connecting with end customers is necessary.

I have been working with Microsoft Dynamics for around a year.

I would rate the stability of Microsoft Dynamics as seven.

For scalability, I would rate it eight.

For technical support from Microsoft, I rate it three or four because there are many hurdles to reach the support team and get an outcome from them. There was an issue we were facing a day back, and the support could improve significantly.

My organization is not satisfied with the pricing, and I would rate it two.

Looking at the broad range, mid-market companies that need to handle production, distribution, service management, or professional services make up the large part of the customer base I work for.

Usability in Microsoft Dynamics is important. In recent years, they have added substantial standard functionality and new features, making it straightforward to use.

While not everything is well documented from a user or business perspective, with documentation sometimes being too technical, many features are useful for solving standard business problems.

Microsoft Dynamics is user-friendly, depending on what you implement. It is not optimal for large datasets, but it works effectively for providing real-time insights on data.

Microsoft Dynamics' customizable dashboards are functional but could be enhanced.

The foundation of Microsoft Dynamics' AI-driven automation exists, but many aspects need improvement and training.

Regarding AI capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics, the foundation for agents exists but requires training and configuration before deployment.

The integration in Microsoft Dynamics needs improvement in multi-company setups.

I work as a partner in Microsoft Dynamics, collaborating with freelancers to assist customers in implementations primarily conducted by larger partners. We guide them through the process, conduct workshops, perform fit-gap analysis on the platform, and provide training and user adoption support afterward. Our role involves ensuring the solution in the implementation project meets their needs, protecting the budget, maintaining the business case, and performing quality assurance.

The integrations of the modules of Microsoft Dynamics in a multi-country and multi-company setup require careful consideration.

Based on my experience, I rate Microsoft Dynamics a seven out of ten.

We provide services to customers from assorted industries, beginning with distribution. This includes trade logistics, sales, and procurement. We have also serviced mining customers and are currently undertaking a project for a coal mining company. Additionally, we have customers in the production and manufacturing sectors and are currently working with a Japanese company for coil cutting services in Indonesia. Resource planning, production module, trade logistics, and asset management are all part of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution, which is an excellent offering. We are also working with a mining customer and integrating their specific mining application with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Additionally, we are integrating a payment gateway with a bank.

We deploy on the cloud because the on-prem version is difficult for us to deploy and we have many resources with the cloud subscription.

I find the trade logistics feature to be particularly interesting because I have a background in this module. Additionally, I have to understand the financial and accounting module since it is closely related and integrated with trade logistics. What I enjoy the most about this module is that it offers a variety of scenarios to work with. We are aiming to reduce customization with Microsoft Dynamics 365 as much as possible since it already has many standard features due to the previous experience with AX. 

We often meet customers from an SAP background, mostly in the costing area. Microsoft Dynamics system could improve the costing calculation tool. For example, with regards to manufacturing, if there is a way to improve the calculation and tracking of costing from finished goods to WIP and raw materials, it would be an excellent solution. Additionally, I would like to see Microsoft Dynamics 365 have specific country localizations. The current report is too broad and generalized to meet the needs of customers who require more detailed information. To address this, we must customize the report to meet their specific requirements. The new asset management is comprehensive and more complete than it was in the past. The solution now includes a repair solution and the ability to handle consignment materials. 

I have been using the solution for over ten years.

The solution is stable but we need to ensure that our data remains under control after we deploy it to production.

I give the scalability of the solution a nine out of ten.

When we encounter any issues, we can try to troubleshoot or fix them ourselves. However, if the problem is more complex, we can create a ticket for the Microsoft Support Team. They are usually very helpful and can help us to identify and solve problems.

I give the initial setup a five out of ten because the configuration for Microsoft Dynamics 365 may vary depending on the customer's needs.

Deployment usually takes our company up to three days. This is due to the need to register our information in the LCS and wait for Microsoft team feedback. Once we receive the feedback, we can continue our deployment and assistance.

For the deployment of one project, we typically have four to five people involved, including the technical and programming teams. This number may increase depending on the size of the project; however if the project is large, we may need to bring in an additional three to five people, including the technical and programming teams to help with the customization.

We implement the solution for our clients.

With the experience we have gained, we can be more financially astute. We have implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for a distribution company and a tower contractor in Indonesia. Prior to using the system, they lacked the data needed to make informed decisions. With Microsoft Dynamics 365, the data became more accessible, though it took some time to stabilize. After two years, the directors were able to make use of the ERP's information, allowing their business to grow immensely. They are delighted to have one system that they can manage and a centralized system that everyone can access. It is up to the customer how they choose to implement the system once we have handed it over. Some may require guidance from us, such as providing them with the information they need to analyze reports. However, some customers may choose not to continue with our support due to pricing concerns and prefer to manage the system internally. All of our customers who have implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 are still using the environment to this day. I estimate around a 20 percent return on investment for each client.

I give the cost a two out of ten because it is an expensive solution.

I give the solution a nine out of ten. Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a very powerful solution.

We work with medium to enterprise-level clients and unless they have a big budget the solution is hard to introduce given its hefty price tag. We previously sold the AX for on-premise solutions to small and medium businesses. However, due to increased competition from cloud solutions such as Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, and Odoo which offer cheaper prices, we must now target our customer market from medium to enterprise.

I recommend the solution to others.

We have used the on-premise version and recently moved to the cloud.

The modular approach to how Microsoft Dynamics is being deployed is what drove us to use it. You find that an organization would have, for example, only finance and HR, but in the future, they want to scale up the supply chain. They will later want to add procurement. The modular aspect is what was beneficial to us and influenced our decision to use Dynamics 365 on the cloud.

The reporting and business intelligence have been some key areas that we have benefited from. Microsoft has taken care of the security. They release the security updates either mid, long, or short term. Those updates take care of the security aspects.

I have been using Microsoft Dynamics for approximately six years.

The scalability of Microsoft Dynamics is good. I do not see a challenge there, because the solution was built to fit small, medium, and large enterprises. It can scale to however large or however small an organization is.

Microsoft Dynamics has all the right features that small and medium enterprises need because that is our target market.

Everyone in my company is using Microsoft Dynamics.

The support is very good from Microsoft.

The initial setup of Microsoft Dynamics requires some expertise. The process is not user-friendly for beginners. If you know your way around Microsoft Dynamics, it's something you'd find intermediate. It's not easy but not difficult.

We did the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics for our clients and for our own organization.

There is a license required to use this solution. The prices can vary, depending on your setup and the number of users you have.

My advice to others is for them to plan ahead, make sure they know who their end users are, and who the external users are, because, with such systems, you need to know your key data points, the data that you'll be entering into the system, and your key outputs, for what you want the system to give you. If you fit the system with trash, then you will receive trash in return. It's simply planning, then you know exactly what you want before going into the system.

Microsoft Dynamics is one of the main tool that I use when managing my company which deals in IT products. It allows me to search for products, invoices, and customers. I use it to analyse my market, product management, and all customers, including employees. This ensures good management of my costs and expenses making it easier to identify what is making losses.

After doing some training with most of the accounting staff, I am using the software with ease and efficiency. I have made a positive impact by understanding how to fix some errors and issues in this software. I like the way it integrates with Outlook and SharePoint by giving detailed reports of my company.

I use it when analysing all the activities in my company with a special tool for analytics which gives detailed information on all activities.

Microsoft Dynamics has greatly influenced my marketing strategy by providing a way of analysing which weak products are selling. I can manage customers efficiently and with ease. Its analytic tool provides a good informative way of reaching me on what is needed in my organisation to be competitive in the market, like other companies.

I can create new products and display them efficiently. I can add any customer I need with ease. The whole process of managing my company has improved greatly. It provides good results in communication between my clients and employees.

Microsoft Dynamics has an analytical tool that gives valuable information about the company structure and its market. This tool has helped me when making good decisions based on business performance. It gives detailed information in the form of charts, making it easier to read and analyse.

It has ability to control the management of all processes in the company, allowing good communication throughout entire departments. 

It has a good interface, which is very understandable and easy to use.

It can be integrated with other applications, like Microsoft Servers, thus enhancing product management. 

It has a warehouse management tool where you can effectively manage your logistics, sales, and market. This ensures you see all your costs and enables you to plan for them.

There should have been a way where customer support is supported. This would ensure that the users can more easily find errors while dealing with their software activities. Also, there should be free tutorials with educative information for startups to guide them on using this software. 

I have been using this software for three years now.

The software is very stable on my computer. It does not clash often.

The software can be scaled on various parts or fields, since it caters to all fields in a business.

The software does not offer good technical support. This greatly affected the use of the software.

I have not used another software, so I am unable to compare it.

The initial setup was a bit complex and one should be keen in installing it since it requires a server and some .NET framework to be installed in-order for it to run.

You need to be careful with the installation. You first install the server first to be able to successfuly install and run dynamic nav.

i implemented it in-house. 

The software is a bit expensive and some startup companies will be unable to use it despite its effective usage in management. This should be catered for and looked upon since it greatly affects some users who want to use the tool.

The cost of Dynamics NAV is a bit expensive. Most service packs cost thousands of dollars. However, it is a good software for managing your business activities and gives good results.

I would recommend any user at a company to use this software since it caters for all areas and fields of business.
