What is our primary use case?
I have used Microsoft Azure Object Storage, which is a blob storage service. Our customers use the services that we provide for blob storage.
Our customers use applications, and Microsoft Azure Object Storage improves the application performance and reliability, enabling faster processing for critical business workloads. This reduces the cost and operational overhead with scalable, secure, and easy to manage cloud storage.
One of my customers has an application called HR1, which is an HRMS. In that application, they upload documents to the storage, such as storing resumes, offer letters, ID proofs, pay lists, appraisal documents, and appliance records securely and at scale. We perform backups in Microsoft Azure Object Storage only. Backup and archival services are provided. Some HR1 applications also store media, including large attachments such as training videos, employee onboarding materials, and policy documents. Reports are also saved in object storage. Disaster recovery is included as well.
Object storage is being used by the customers through endpoints, but not the public endpoints.
