Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"SAP Analytics Cloud is a very good tool. The feature that's most useful for me is the reporting as it can be done via Google Chrome. The solution is also very nice, user-friendly, and easy to build. It's very easy to use the features of SAP Analytics Cloud.""It offers good backup capabilities.""The solution is stable.""Data integration is very good.""I would recommend this solution for companies that are SAP dependent with users working in this environment.""The stories have really been helpful in looking at specific scenarios and analyzing trends over periods of time.""I like the product's capabilities. The clarity and scenarios are the main features that allow us to forecast using machine learning algorithms and make decisions.""Considering the reporting part, I rate the tool a nine out of ten."

"The dashboard design interface is very intuitive and allows you to quickly and easily produce professional, innovative dashboards.""The most valuable thing I have found is the ability for Sisense to connect data from totally different sources.""I have found the dashboard creating feature helpful.""ElastiCube Manager is a very easy to use ETL tool, which includes the ability to easily transform raw data into reusable data.""This solution is easy to learn how to use.""Sisense has helped us gain knowledge about our customers, as well as highlighting data quality issues to correct.""No issues with stability. It is a very stable solution.""Visually displaying data."

Cons
"The price, integration, and modeling capabilities could be better. I have to use an integration engine to integrate our products and databases. SAP Analytics Cloud is made specifically for KPIs and business intelligence. The modeling capabilities are kind of poor. You always have to model the data and then present it visually in SAP Analytics Cloud. In the next release, I would like to have a lite version for planning to create scenarios quickly. For me personally, planning is the most complicated feature of SAP Analytics Cloud.""SAP Analytics Cloud requires a lot of coding and I would like the coding to be somewhat minimal.""I would like to see reporting to the Analytics cloud directly.""I expect more integration from SAP Analytics Cloud.""SAP has always had one problem with its products, they make them very closed systems that are difficult to integrate.""The budget management could be better.""SAP could add more templates to the platform.""It should have the flexibility for scoping the story and models. When you use it in a three-layer architecture, you struggle with the fact that you usually have just one SAP Analytics Cloud tenant, and you have to switch the connections, which might be an issue for bigger developments. For the development role, there should be an option to switch between development and production scenarios."

"I would love to have more customization capabilities for building dashboards, especially in creating custom widget sizes.""I would like Sisense to improve its performance, particularly when we are dealing with large-scale data.""The initial version we purchased only ran on Windows servers, which was less than ideal for our DevOps team. I believe that has been remedied in the latest release.""They should improve the filters to create downloaded data by moving them to the top of the dashboard.""This solution does not have tabs. In order to have tabs, you have to download an add-on to mimic the tabs. They should be integrated to improve the solution.""The solution's setup process could be easier.""At present there are additional costs involved if we wish to share our data queues within this solution, which we would like to see removed.""The administrative side of Sisense is a little cumbersome and confusing."

  • "It's not that costly as such for the time being."
  • "Its licensing is on a monthly basis."
