Streamlines HR operations and reduces management through valuable self-service features
We used Oracle HCM Cloud for HRMS to access without a perpetual license. We aimed to transition employees to the cloud because Oracle planned to stop support for E Business Suite by twenty twenty-five. We wanted to test and understand how Oracle HCM Cloud would support our business needs It…

A flexible solution with superb automation capabilities
The technical support is high-end. They're knowledgeable people, both in the US and in the Philippines. One point of improvement — they should talk more to each other. They're quite responsive, but it depends on the scope of the ticket. If it's just solving an issue from one product, you can have either a consultant from the US or from the Philippines. It gets difficult when a solution is about integration. For instance, authentication mechanisms. Authentication mechanisms come from the US and they have to be incorporated in the Asia version. Then it's difficult because support has to talk to each other.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The core part and the talent management part are most valuable."
"It is a configurable, scalable solution."
"Offers a good balanced scorecard capability."
"The most valuable features in Oracle HCM Cloud are the employee and manager self-services."
"Oracle is a strong option for purchasing or procurement."
"The application design is beautiful."
"In terms of ERP, it's a good product. It's convenient."
"We haven't had a single issue with stability, and we've been using it for more than three years."
"This solution is extremely flexible and the automation capabilities are great."

Cons

"The tool's configurable side allows you to have more flexibility, but at the same time, it creates a lot of confusion that still has to do over so much of the configuration, which are areas that are conflicting in nature."
"The absence management can use some improvement. Due to all the flexible working, the part with work schedules could be a little bit more flexible."
"Visually, Oracle HCM Cloud needs improvement. For example, the employee portal looks rather old, so it would be awesome if Oracle refreshed its design or if the portal looked more modern. Oracle HCM Cloud works, but visually, it needs improvement."
"I think they should have a larger data center in China, which would significantly increase the access speed from my current workspace."
"Exposure to users on the volume or utilization of servers and memory is necessary. Currently, when users hit the threshold, the system experiences a slowdown."
"In some geographies, you might not find specific localizations. For example, here in Turkey, we can use all Oracle Cloud modules except for payroll. The Oracle payroll module isn't localized for the Turkish system. So, we need to integrate a separate, localized payroll solution with Oracle HCM."
"It could be more user-friendly."
"The support from Oracle HCM Cloud is great, they are responsive and helpful. However, they still could improve."
"The integration capabilities could be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a five out of ten."
"The solution is expensive."
"I haven't personally dealt with the cost details, but based on client feedback, Oracle HCM Cloud is considered expensive due to additional support costs on top of licensing fees."
"The solution’s pricing is high."
"I am not normally involved in the product's pricing since it normally involves the packages that a user chooses. Pricing differs based on a case-to-case scenario and client-to-client basis."
"The data traffic cost is expensive. The solution can scale up beyond my imagination, but the cost can rise up easily."
"According to the Turkish market, the pricing is a little bit expensive."
"I don't know how much it costs, but I know that everything is included. We don't pay anything extra apart from the licensing fee."
"It's not too expensive, but not too cheap either."
