Provides the ability to send detected malware to Kaspersky's sandbox environment for behavioral analysis
Kaspersky's support team is not that much supportive. If we need any help from them, they do not provide a good solution, and it takes too long to resolve the issue. This is the main thing because some cases are easy and need urgent resolution. However, when we create a support ticket, it takes three days to get it planned, and we have urgent requirements. So, the ticketing process needs improvement.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We have a concept of working from home. Most endpoints are not in the domain. It is our first line of defense. While we had Kaspersky deployed, it gave good insight into the upcoming challenge or threat."
"It is a secure solution with a lot of IT management features."
"It is a stable solution...It is a very scalable solution."
"The product's initial setup phase was easy."
"The most valuable aspect of the product is its consolidated features."
"Kaspersky EDR offers automated response capabilities, enhancing efficiency by enabling quick investigation and response to potential threats on Android devices."
"One of the good features is the provider's Faulting capability. If any of our systems detect malware, we can check the behavior of the malware by sending it to Kaspersky's sandbox environment. This helps us assess how destructive the malware is. After analyzing it, we can create use cases and protection measures based on that behavior. So, this is the best feature of Kaspersky."
"It downloads essential security patches that are valuable for my PC."
"The content filtering options are good."
"The most valuable feature of Kaspersky EDR is its simplicity. The console is easy to use and not very complex."
"This is a feature-rich product."
"We particularly appreciate how scalable this solution is, as we often need to increase our end-user numbers."
"My impression of the stability of this solution is good. We have not had any issues with stability."
"The solution does a good job of filtering and blocking unusual traffic."
"The most valuable feature is Endpoint's management."
"EDR's most valuable feature is its basic protection from malware and viruses."

Cons

"Kaspersky EDR could be improved by adding network detection capabilities to enhance convenience and security."
"One of the main areas where the tool could improve is its integration capabilities. For example, I find it challenging to integrate it with other solutions. It would be helpful if the tool could make it more open to integration with other tools."
"There are certain shortcomings with the UI of the solution. The UI is not at all user-friendly."
"The solution must provide better security."
"The main issue was compatibility with the cloud itself. The CPU usage immediately spiked, causing the machines to hang and sometimes even forcing server or computer restarts."
"The product does not detect zero-day threats."
"Incorporating an AI protection tool with the capability to detect and prevent zero-day threats, particularly those with a five-star rating in terms of severity would be beneficial."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response is expensive. It should improve its stability."
"If a customer wants to use Kaspersky on-prem, they'll need to spend a lot on the hardware. Their server must be strong because EDR is a heavy product. You need excellent hardware to run it. It might make sense to deploy the solution in the cloud. If they add features, it will only make the product heavier and increase the hardware costs."
"There's room for improvement in customer service and support. The response time when I open a ticket or communicate with the vendor could be faster."
"We'd like to see them improve the automatic response."
"The solution is expensive."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Expert needs to include a traffic interface."
"I would like to integrate Kaspersky with my Log Collector SIEM. Right now that's not possible."
"My opinion is that behavior detection could work better. This feature gets a high rate of false positives."
"They should include XDR features in the solution."
