Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

IT Service Delivery at a tech services company with 1,001-5,000 employees
Customizable, easy to manage using a single dashboard, but the features in my version are quite basic
Infraon Desk is very flexible in nature and can be customized for my needs. The fact that I can customize it the way I want is the best part of the tool for me. The customization took longer than I expected to complete, although it may be the team that I was interacting with. They might not have had enough manpower in place. If enough resources are available then the customization is easy. All of the information that I need for monitoring the entire platform is available on a single dashboard. This is very helpful with respect to managing. The multi-channel ticketing options that this solution provides are very important to us because it's all about how we engage with our customers and what options we offer for them to communicate with us. Nowadays, there are many collaborative platforms and many methods for ticket logging. Every system of this type should be flexible enough to provide a mobile app, at least for Android and iOS, and not be confined to using Windows alone. Similarly, self-service portals as well as integration with Slack, as this product has, are important options that many people use.

Manager - Technical Support at a tech vendor with 10,001+ employees
Has helped streamline ticketing and change management while offering clear documentation support
Documentation and learning materials are available for Ivanti Neurons for ITSM, and if you check the vendor sites, you will find documents for each feature. I believe that short videos should be created and uploaded for newcomers to learn quickly since time can be limited. If a user believes in Ivanti, they should also believe in all its products including Ivanti Neurons for ITSM and Neurons because they are genuinely putting in hard work. This is reflected in the documentation, though I suggest they work on creating more videos. Other than that, you will find everything you need in the community site and documentation site. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Ivanti Neurons for ITSM an 8 out of 10.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We are having a very good experience with this product."
"From the second year onward, ROI is achieved, which is a great thing because year-over-year you are accruing those benefits."
"The application replaced about three employees for the OFAC verification processes, thus eliminating the need to hire more people for those tasks."
"The most valuable feature of Automation Anywhere is the automation that frees up time for our employees to engage with customers."
"I like Automation Anywhere's cloud-based nature. You don't need any on-prem infrastructure to host it."
"The features I most appreciate are the built-in version control system, historical log, audit trail features, and the breadth of RPA action commands included out of the box."
"It improved the task performance at a team level and improved productivity."
"We are saving almost four FTEs, and it is far better in terms of savings."
"Infraon Desk is very flexible in nature and can be customized for my needs. The fact that I can customize it the way I want is the best part of the tool for me."
"Infraon Desk was the best choice for my budget, considering the features and customization that I wanted."
"There are a few dashboards and they are helpful because, in our organization, we have different groups of people who need different kinds of dashboards... as head of network operations, I need a top-level view. I want to see how many calls are open and how many calls are pending, on average, and some trend analysis. Whereas a manager in my team might like to see slightly more detail."
"It is meeting our requirements and we are very happy and satisfied with the services of Infraon Desk."
"HEAT Service Management is good for asset and service desk management. It is the focal point for this solution."
"Our First Call Close rate for the Service Desk was 70-80% once we got all the workflows and Notes and Question screens populated."
"It is relatively cost-effective compared to other options like ServiceNow. Additionally, it is highly stable."
"HEAT Service Management is a great tool for assets, service desk, and customer service management."
"Understand that this product is a great investment."
"Primarily, I believe the focus lies on discovery, workflow configuration, and automation."
"I like Cloud Neurons. Since it's a cloud version, it's much easier to enhance productivity because it collects all the information automatically."
"Ivanti Neurons for ITSM is a key tool and is very important to my service delivery efficiency."

Cons

"There's a loss of overhead on the computing resources in Automation Anywhere. If you have an encrypted bot, the Automation Anywhere software has to read it first, decrypt it, and run it. So there is a potential that, if the logic of the bot isn't good enough, a lot of CPU and memory overload will happen. This is something which Automation Anywhere should look at because it takes a lot of computing resources. I have seen CPUs running at 100 percent."
"It is very difficult to create and automate timetables because they are modal, and it would be helpful if the bot could assist us with this."
"The assign value function is not there in the A2019 Community edition, which makes it hard for a developer to manipulate the data."
"The product falls behind in working with webhooks."
"Currently, there are some vulnerabilities in security that need attention in Automation Anywhere."
"When you are hosting the application, that is when it is a little more complicated to set up. You need to talk to the IT department, as you are actually outside of their firewall, then you are coming back inside their cloud."
"Overall, I am pretty satisfied with Automation Anywhere. The UI is pretty straightforward. However, the customer service could be improved."
"Working with the Automation Anywhere servers and domains have proven to be difficult. We are trying to get more licenses and servers set up, so we can run multiple scenarios simultaneously."
"The version that I am using is very basic and I wouldn't say that it has extraordinary services capabilities that I've never seen before."
"The reporting is okay, but it doesn't give you reports that make you say "wow," like you might see from a tool like MRTG or PRTG whose reports give you a good feeling. The detailing is not there in the Infraon Desk reports and there are no graphical elements in them. The reporting is slightly weak and needs to be improved."
"Better connectivity and integration with more collaborative platforms would be helpful."
"Ivanti Neurons for ITSM's support model is not very strong. You should buy professional services. Its self-service portal and survey are extremely lacking. You cannot customize it, and it doesn't look very good. The solution does not have a strong community."
"There is room for improvement in terms of response time. The support team takes a long time to respond."
"Perhaps one area that could see enhancement is at the hardware level, particularly regarding endpoint control."
"Currently, the solution only supports SOAP web services, but a REST interface is on the roadmap and has been confirmed for mid-next year."
"The user interface must be made simpler and more effective."
"The process to add fields is time consuming and requires the system to be offline while you apply an Edit Set."
"We'd like more integration with solutions like SolarWinds."
"Sometimes I can't get the reports that I want until I go to the manager. They need to put more into the new reports. The standard reports are great, but there do not communicate as much."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We are restricted to use one license on one PC. However, if my license is not working, I want to be able to use it somewhere else. This would be a nice improvement to the licensing, as other competitors in the market have better licensing terms."
"It depends. For example, for my group, we are centralizing the infrastructure in Paris. Our contract is signed with Automation Anywhere in France. The currency and the pricing of Automation Anywhere in France can appear beneficial and interesting for Germany and Scandinavian countries, but when we share our infra and are internally charging other countries such as Poland, Brazil, or some other country with a lower currency value as compared to Euro, it becomes less beneficial. They would prefer to sign the contract directly with Automation Anywhere because they will benefit from a price that is as per their local market."
"We are interested in saving manual engineer man-hours. So far, we have saved $100,000."
"Talk to your manager and try to procure an automation license for training. This will allow you to train people, so you can move to automation."
"There is a free trial so that they can get an overview, and there are different licenses that are very affordable and can suit every business model."
"Licensing for Automation Anywhere (AA) is paid on a yearly basis. Out of all the RPA tools, it has the most value for money, e.g. what you pay is what you get."
"We're paying a monthly subscription fee for the bot and for services. There are no additional costs beyond the standard licensing fee."
"It is not cheap, but we are able to get an ROI."
"The price of this solution is reasonable and it was well within my budget."
"The pricing model is very competitive."
"The product is affordable for small businesses."
"If you want to add more users who can handle support there will be additional fees. What we call our extensions, we need to pay more for. They tell us that we need to acquire more licenses or something like that. I think it's very expensive, because in terms the pula, our local currency, it's about 20,000 per license for each user. It is an annual fee."
"The price is on the higher side. The support is included in the standard licensing fees."
"I came to know from my team members that my company used to operate ServiceNow but shifted to Ivanti Neurons for ITSM due to its low licensing prices."
