Provides a powerful and simple email protection with proven management benefits
Sophos Email is integrated with Office 365 and Google Workspace. It offers anti-spam functionality, which is easy to manage and comes with documentation on how to integrate it with Office 365 and Google Workspace. It provides a defense layer for email protection, scanning every incoming and outbound email for malware and spam. It can also function temporarily as an email solution if my vendor from Office 365 or Google Workspace is out of service.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It is stable and reliable."
"The feature of Sophos Email that we find most effective for detecting suspicious emails is primarily based on their signatures."
"It is a stable solution...It is a scalable solution."
"The most valuable feature of Sophos Email is the sandbox. We're able to scan the file, isolate it, and look at it before it is delivered. It is highly effective."
"When you say email security, it's about everything, incoming email, outgoing email, spam, phishing emails, unwanted marketing emails. You can set rules, but the main feature of Sophos Email is to make sure you don't get hacked. 95% of people who are hacked do not get hacked by typing the router password. They are hacked from the inside out, which means they send you a document that is a zero-day attack, you open it, nothing happens, but technically the attack is running in the background of your computer. This is how they gain access to your PC."
"Good VIP protection, time of click protection and the Sandstorm feature."
"The speed and stability were fine."
"The anti-malware, risk scanning has been pretty spot on."
"It's easy to use and the configuration is straightforward."

Cons

"The solution could be less expensive."
"The product could include all the essential features and capabilities, similar to the on-premise, server-based version."
"Email installation could be more user-friendly so that it can be done without involving the partner."
"It was sometimes hard to find the settings in the solution's interface."
"The tool's pricing is expensive. In its future release, the tool should make reporting easier to view."
"Sophos Email could improve DLP features."
"The tool has some performance issues and bugs, making it an area where improvements are required."
"I would like to see improvements in the initial setup process, ensuring better compatibility with diverse customer infrastructures."
"The tool’s stability should be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"We use exchange licenses, for which we get immediate support from Sophos."
"The product is cheaper compared to other solutions."
"I would rate the pricing of Sophos Email as a six. It is considered affordable as a standalone product, and there are no additional costs besides licensing. The pricing is fixed."
"Licensing is paid on a yearly basis."
"There is an additional fee for their central managed console."
"The pricing could improve by having additional discounts. For example, when customers buy have more than 50 or more users, there should be additional discounts."
"I rate the product's pricing a seven out of ten."
"It is an expensive solution. On a scale of one to ten, where one is low price, and ten is high price, I rate the pricing a seven."

What do you like most about Sophos Email?
The solution's identity proxy feature is very good and reliable.
What is your experience regarding pricing and costs for Sophos Email?
Sophos Email pricing is a bit high, especially since I purchase through a partner, and they sell it at a higher price since they also seek to make a profit.
What needs improvement with Sophos Email?
Sophos Email does not work with split delivery. If I have a domain with 100 mailboxes and want to protect only 50, it is not recommended by Sophos or not possible to configure.
