Faced deployment delays and daily errors but have streamlined access reviews and improved termination processes
The deployment of Omada Identity is complex; the product is not brilliantly documented, and it lacks the same level of documentation that could be found for systems such as SailPoint or Saviynt, making it harder to find material or help online, particularly with Omada Cloud. The system performance of Omada Identity is inconsistent; we've been analyzing this issue together with Omada, but we haven't been able to resolve whether the problem lies on their side or my client's side, which causes long response times and long run times in Omada sometimes. Omada Identity does not help deploy IGA within 12 weeks; the time frame for applying the rapid deployment solution was much longer than expected, and I am unsure if it is built on best practices across all systems. When we receive an error or system message from Omada Identity, it's very hard to decode what it means; we have had serious issues in daily imports that we can't explain, indicating a need for improved stability. The comprehensiveness of out-of-the-box connectors that Omada provides differs; the connectors for Microsoft and Salesforce are good, but for SAP, they are basically non-existent.

A cost-effective solution, but the user interface lacks the ability to customize
In the UK, I think that we are one of the biggest utilizers of the service. With the restrictions that it has, I don't think it's got massive upscalability. For general users it is fine, but the scalability could be better. We started with approximately eight and a half thousand users, and we currently have about twelve-thousand people using it. This is used widely across a number of user groups, including administrators, end users, general users, and specific privileged users for two-factor authentication. We do plan to increase the usage of this solution. Our current capacity is fourteen thousand but we will probably grow beyond that.

Has a simple GUI and is easy to deploy, but has no proper documentation on how to do backups, and has lengthy configurations and workflows
There are several areas for improvement in Symantec Identity Governance and Administration. They have no proper documentation on how to do backups. They also have a lengthy workflow process where we have to make some configurations to manage automation in the rules and in our tasks which takes time. We have to manually configure all the configuration files, and we cannot export users because there's no export system in Symantec Identity Governance and Administration. What we'd like to see in the next release of the solution is for them to make configuration and integration with other systems their top priorities. We have many API systems to manage, so hopefully, if they make these enhancements shortly, we can directly connect with our API systems when using Symantec Identity Governance and Administration.

We can only see the system that has carried out a particular action but not what triggered it. If an event definition or something has changed in the criteria for the permission being removed or something like that, we don't have immediate access to that information.
