Stable but bad technical support, and an out of date database
We primarily use the solution to protect our business The solution protects us so that we have regular security from attacks. It prevents disasters from happening on our system. The endpoint protection is the solution's most valuable feature. The database needs improvement. It needs to be…

Great threat response, provides for proactivity, and has automated threat identification
In terms of the Pakistani market and talking from a salesperson's perspective, I'd suggest that Kaspersky introduce a bundle of Kaspersky EDR-Optimum or Kaspersky EDR-Expert along with its Business Select/Advance suite. When I say this, I understand the Pakistani market and how slow and less eager organizations are to invest in IT and internet security. Most of them don't invest until or unless they face any attack or network failure. However, in addition to the product, Kaspersky should give EDR-Optimum on the cloud for less than 300 users as well, in case any customer has its whole network on the cloud. That way they can easily use it.

"The endpoint protection is the solution's most valuable feature."
"The solution has exchange protection. It has a content control, device control, a firewall, and anti-malware as well. They are all quite valuable features for us."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum have met our requirements."
"Overall, I would rate Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum an eight out of ten."
"The most beneficial aspect of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is its protection capabilities, followed by its device management capabilities. The ability to remotely install software is highly advantageous, making it a convenient and helpful feature."

"The solution's most valuable features are the advanced detection and anti-theft features."

Cons

"There needs to be better integration with the environment. Especially, for the active directory and also for keeping up with the changes from Microsoft. We use a lot of Microsoft OS. I have noted that sometimes they lag behind Microsoft updates. For example, when with Windows 10. I had some issues with deploying to Windows 10 because the solution was behind in updating their own services to match the Microsoft release."
"The database needs improvement. It needs to be updated quite a bit."
"There are blurred lines between anti-virus and endpoint detection so I would say it can be confusing when you are considering buying this program. I would like to see that being explained better to the customer."
"I want Kaspersky to extend its products to internet protection. For example, I would like them to develop a firewall integrated with EDR."
"We face challenges with the automated effective awareness platform program (ASAP), particularly with its implementation. It is difficult and not effective for us yet."
"To increase the benefits of the product, Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service from Kaspersky should be included."
"The application should be made a bit lighter so that it does not slow down the PC."
"I rate the technical support between seven and eight out of ten for Kaspersky."
"EDR Optimum's scalability could be improved."
"What I want to be added to Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is a single pane of glass management, where everything is integrated into a single pane of glass."
"I want the tool’s pricing to improve."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool’s pricing is yearly. The solution’s pricing is expensive."
"Kaspersky gives a consolidated price with a good solution. If we choose something else, we need to add other options on our own."
