Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Seamless automation for workflows, customizable and UI friendly
I would rate the stability a seven out of ten because other tools in the market have extra capabilities that BizFlow doesn't have yet. They have some built-in capabilities and AI features, and everyone is thinking about how to implement AI in their area. I haven't seen any updates from BizFlow on this, but they might plan to implement it soon. However, we don't have this capability right now. This could be one reason why people might move from BizFlow to another tool. For example, with Nintex, we can integrate Google Cloud and achieve some functionality from Google Cloud as well. IBM also introduced some free tests in their DPM services with AI. These are good things in the market right now.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Improved Efficiency : Post RPA services, the efficiency and accuracy of the processes have increased tremendously and now the employees can focus more on important research and analysis work."
"The way templates can be configured is quite simple - it's a matter of drag and drop."
"I found that the REST API commands are very useful and easy to use."
"It is easily understandable and very well structured."
"With the entry of IQ Bot, it now takes care of my scanned documents, which means IQ Bot does the OCR extraction and gives my data to the Automation Anywhere Taskbot, resulting in no manual intervention and end-to-end bot processing, along with a happy customer at the end of the day."
"We have saved 60 to 70 percent on operations."
"AA control room is one central system to manage our tasks. We found it excellent to administrate. It was used for easy scheduling of process/task in Remote desktop. This helped to avoid manual intervention to trigger tasks."
"The most valuable feature is that it is intuitive. It is designed so business users can use it with a drag and drop functionality to develop automation of business processes. Since they are the experts on business processes, there are probably the best ones to create the automation."
"Working with BizFlow (the company) has been an equal pleasure."
"There are so many advantages. First things, like we have a seamless automation capability available here in BizFlow. Totally customizable, UI we can create, and the third-party integration is also achievable. Not with the in-built functionality, but with custom code and all, we can achieve that thing also."
"Overall, BizFlow has provided seamless integration of Human-Centric and Integration-Centric BPM capabilities to enable efficient use of Personnel resources while automating data-driven activities via web service interactions."

Cons

"There is a lot of scope for improvement in terms of stability. It is a concern, because right now we are close to 20 to 25 percent false negatives that are coming up."
"Automation Anywhere can be improved by reducing the time of the processes and enhancing the efficiency of people."
"We have had some quirkiness happen when integrating the Automation Anywhere with other solutions, such as weird Excel issues or temperamental legacy system issues."
"The product is not the best that it could be. There is always room to improve it a bit more. They are heading in the right direction with their innovations."
"When I post questions, I seldom get answers fast, and when I do, there are inconsistencies with the existing documentation."
"If I were to mention one area for improvement, it would be on advanced AI commands, such as advanced coding. While this is not critically needed since Automation Anywhere is doing great, improving in that area could be beneficial."
"We've struggled with some of the new features Automation Anywhere added in the latest version. For example, they added a new OpenAI package, but it took a while for me to find it in the actions menu."
"As a developer or user, I feel that the performance of the overall package could be made a little better or reliable."
"I suggest BizFlow create look up functionality to add and cache reusable form data (e.g., static drop down data) as it is required in almost every software application."
"I suggest BizFlow continue to invest in JDK 64 bit and Siteminder integration for single sign on."
"Nintex provided an in-built functionality. Like integration-related things, so many service types are available. You just have to configure it. So, such kinds of things decrease the timing of development. So, it is missing in Bizflow."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost of Automation Anywhere is high in Turkey due to the weak economy."
"Approximately, for a developer, it is around $750 for a license a year. For Bot Runners, it is about $550."
"They all are very competitive today. At the end of the day, it boils down to the negotiations that happen and what type of partner you are."
"We are currently negotiating a contract. Depending upon that, we will definitely look at increasing usage."
"Annual licensing costs would be about $100,000."
"The certifications are free of cost."
"Automation Anywhere is somewhat expensive. The prices are slightly higher, but if you need something, you must pay for it."
"I would like them to have better license management."
"Pricing is a main concern for any organization, but some big organizations may find it affordable. For example, in Indian currency, it would be around 1,000 per license for a BizFlow license."
