As I mentioned, we evaluated MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, and SnapLogic, and on top of that, we recently evaluated one technology called Pentaho for an integration platform; however, we found that SnapLogic is the best option currently on the market, so we have gone with it.

Almost all of our data transformation process and file extract process goes through SnapLogic, and we have a ton of our infrastructure set up in there and I would say it is extremely important for our processes.

I would tell others looking into using SnapLogic to use it, take it, use it, and use it, because you can't go beyond SnapLogic and SnapLogic is not going to give you any kind of bad experience, definitely.

SnapLogic has positively impacted my organization by enabling us to bring a lot of external data in for our suppliers so that we can then utilize that information to start reducing ad hoc queries within the business, improve customer relationships, improve customer experience, improve supplier relationships, and it is even now being used as negotiation tools with suppliers.

I find the learning curve for complex transformations, the debugging experience, performance optimization visibility, cost for small teams, and version control and DevOps integration could be improved in SnapLogic.

Sometimes they are very long and complex and we have to store those in the SQL Execute Snaps. It is a little difficult to work with the SQL text files in those Snaps because they do not have a lot of text editing capabilities.

There are times when snaps fail for unknown reasons, and sometimes after an upgrade, SnapLogic itself becomes unstable, but overall, it holds a 90% stability rate.

From the HR point of view, or for HR tech, improvement is required. A couple of connectors are not working with all the relevant APIs, and there is always a restriction in terms of fetching the data.

I think that the biggest improvement needed for SnapLogic would be the learning curve. Without the use of the GPT, I think we would have really struggled as a business to adopt it.

Areas for improvement for SnapLogic include enhancing the documentation, especially by providing more complex examples in each Snappack, to cover various use cases that different team members may encounter.

From our development perspective, we have requested SnapLogic to enhance their SnapGPT to be friendlier, improve documentation capabilities, and enable more Cursor-based type development.
