Streamlined time tracking boosts operational efficiency across multiple regions
The time tracking feature is the most effective for employee management. UKG is used in Europe, the United States, Australia, and East Asian countries for HR activities like payroll. The application is like an ERP, providing comprehensive features for organizations, simplifying their processes, and reducing the need to use multiple software solutions.

Centralized management, useful information storage, but can feel clunky
We have found value in Work.com because it gave us a central place for capturing any opportunities-related information, such as client-related information. Additionally, it is a place for storing this information. Anyone in the organization, if it was being updated actively by the people or by the sales team, could have access to it. Once the contact information is there about any client, then it stays there. If you are approaching a client, you are able to check if there's any history. It's a good tool, but it all depends on how disciplined the sales team is in entering the information regularly.

"Performance management and goals are the most valuable features."
"Employees in our company recognize each other daily for their contributions."

Cons

"I wish UltiPro had the functionality as an administrator to view a user's screen or what they are viewing when trying to help troubleshoot if the user is not onsite."
"Our deployment had a lot of issues...but with my few months at the company, I am finding these are self inflicted."
"Better coordination between document uploads and the life events/open enrollment session."
"Change how the drop boxes work so you can do them faster."
"Reporting is always a hurdle for any user just because it is so extensive. They provide a lot of out-of-the-box reports, but it is something that you always need to work on because you need more advanced writing of reports."
"Recruiting and interfacing the information to payroll are areas with room for improvement."
"Too many updates"
"Onboarding and Performance Management are areas with room for improvement."
"I found Work.com a bit clunky. There were too many fields, but maybe that was the design. It could be company-specific to me. There were overlapping fields and sometimes it was confusing."
"The UI needs to improve."
"The pricing is higher than what we would have preferred to spend."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing depends on the number of licenses we buy."
"If you're going for the full suite, it can be fairly pricey."
"While I am unsure of the licensing cost itself, the total cost of implementation and licensing for a company with over 5000 employees would be around 6,00,000. So, there are additional costs beyond licensing."
"UKG's pricing and licensing model involves ongoing expenses based on the number of employees paid. The initial implementation cost is low when UKG implements it directly. However, when partners handle the implementation, it becomes more expensive since partners don't receive the monthly recurring fees."
"The platform is not affordable but also not the most expensive."
"I wasn't involved in the pricing part. I'm a user, and I believe it is based on the user count. One thing that is nice about Ultimate is that you can learn how to use the system without additional fees. The learning aspect is the life of a product, and the training was a huge reason why we went with Ultimate. We did have some integration costs. They were a part of the implementation because of the integrations to other systems that we included in our implementation."
