Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"GoToMeeting's security is very good. I've never known anybody to crash a GoToMeeting.""We don't have any link issues whether you use it to browser, or use it as a client. It worked perfectly fine for us.""The solution worked well specifically for audio meetings.""There is no lagging and the meeting interaction is seamless.""Pricing is reasonable. It's not expensive. The pricing is one of the great selling points for the product.""It works, it's reliable.""I think all the features are very useful, especially the rooms features and we present with screen sharing. Instead of organizing conferences, we are able to do that online. This has been saving us from spending on travel. From the beginning of this year, because of GoToMeeting, I have canceled I think three or four business trips.""It was just chosen because somebody at the company said, "We need a meeting thing. Hey, go find a meeting thing." It wasn't me, but somebody else in the organization was like, "Alright, let's use GoToMeeting. It's free.""

"Screen share is the most valuable feature.""What I value most about Webex is its stability compared to other solutions.""Overall the quality of the solution is very good.""Easy to use virtual meeting solution. Installation was straightforward without the need for a technical team.""A valuable feature of Webex is that it's good for direct communication. In general, I'm satisfied.""I have found a lot of virtual meeting solutions seem the same. Some might work a little bit better, it is difficult to pinpoint a particular functionality that's widely different, they all have screen sharing and video in-voice.""The most valuable features are video conferencing, the integration with Outlook, and scheduling meetings.""The stability of the solution is the most important feature."

Cons
"Sometimes we'll run into issues where firewall rules aren't set correctly and won't work.""In the next release, I would for it to incorporate files more efficiently from one computer to another when we covert things and send them out. I'm not sure if it's capable of that.""I didn't like the fact that they tried to make their new version look like Zoom.""The solution could always be more secure.""GoToMeeting breaks down a lot. We're not sure if it's breaking down, but we start getting very erratic community channels. I don't know if it's because of GoToMeeting or if we're not buying enough bandwidth. Maybe it is just the infrastructure that it's running on. I'm not quite sure.""The solution could scale a bit easier if you need to add more people to meetings.""I would like to see better support for mobile devices.""I don't know whether it is an issue or not but my boss was asking me if person one is in one room, and another person wanted to use another room at the same time, I don't know whether it is possible."

More GoToMeeting Cons →

"There is a small bug when it comes to connecting my Webex with my Outlook Calendar. Some meetings show up, and others don't. They should fix this bug.""Webex support is not good. When we try to open a ticket, it takes approximately 24 hours. With Microsoft, we get support within two or three hours.""I would like to see additional online chat capabilities""The solution could improve by having better integration with other platforms.""The solution should come as a big client for the system. It should be able to be used just like chat software when necessary, similar to instant messaging.""There are too many issues with getting people connected to meetings.""The licensing could be a bit simpler.""I think it's very inconvenient to have to enter my email address all the time just to be a visitor."
