Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I think all the features are very useful, especially the rooms features and we present with screen sharing. Instead of organizing conferences, we are able to do that online. This has been saving us from spending on travel. From the beginning of this year, because of GoToMeeting, I have canceled I think three or four business trips.""We don't have any link issues whether you use it to browser, or use it as a client. It worked perfectly fine for us.""GoToMeeting's security is very good. I've never known anybody to crash a GoToMeeting.""Reduced the need for physically commuting between offices.""GoToMeeting is very handy. It's good software. I would definitely recommend it.""Even for somebody who does not have a lot of experience, they can easily use it.""It's cost-effective.""There is no lagging and the meeting interaction is seamless."

"What I value most about Webex is its stability compared to other solutions.""In terms of stability, the solution is reliable.""The product's initial setup is easy.""The product's most valuable feature is its ability to integrate with multiple products.""We can do the global meeting with this solution.""The most valuable feature of Webex is ease to use.""Webex's clarity is good for video and audio. I have found it better than Zoom. We can receive notifications of meetings which is helpful.""The ability to join by phone is the most valuable feature. I also think that it's much simpler to use and it's a Cisco product so I think it's the industry standard."

Cons
"I didn't like the fact that they tried to make their new version look like Zoom.""In the next release, I would for it to incorporate files more efficiently from one computer to another when we covert things and send them out. I'm not sure if it's capable of that.""I would like to see better support for mobile devices.""Lacks ease of connectivity, calendar integrations, and third-party app integrations.""Using GoToMeeting in a meeting-sized conference room is kind of a letdown. The camera is supposed to track the speaker and focus on that person so that they can be on the screen. That feature rarely worked. We tested it thoroughly, so maybe it was an issue with the size of the conference room. It may not be suitable for large conference rooms.""The solution could always be more secure.""In addition to the features it already has, I think GoToMeeting should also have additional features that are not present at the moment.""Sometimes we'll run into issues where firewall rules aren't set correctly and won't work."

More GoToMeeting Cons →

"The product's price could be better.""Price is a little high.""I would like to see more integration, with respect to some more unified communication activities.""The solution could improve by having better integration with other platforms.""The performance is not always good and could be improved.""Zoom entered into the commercial space for end-users. It's more of a solution for single users for training classes or music centers and all that. Cisco is not in that space.""The GUI of Webex should be improved. The connectivity for putting people inside the meetings or entering meetings is to be improved.""I was in a meeting on the free version where there were no controls. You couldn't mute somebody or put it in dedicated speaker mode. It was an important meeting, and because of the lack of an ability to control who the speakers were, we got a version of a heckler. Well, it wasn't really a heckler per se. It was just somebody who thinks they know everything."
