Support-wise, they are good.

Windward Core is generally scalable, effectively handling demand, though some infrastructure and cost limitations affect performance.
The fact that you're able to easily identify the pipelines or flows that have errors, and it notifies you when you're building a pipeline where you can run previews and tell where to fix issues, is helpful.
When fetching files larger than 100 MB from SFTP or any other portal, Domo becomes slow due to the heavy file size.

Room For Improvement

Domo users seek improved data integration, visualization, browser compatibility, cost-effectiveness, and support, while desiring enhanced collaboration and customization features.
Windward Core needs improvements in compatibility, user interface, documentation, error handling, and feature enhancements like charts and interactivity.
End users require a license to run their own reports and dashboards, which are fairly expensive.
Some technical aspects such as Beast Mode calculation could be improved in Domo, as it would provide more clarity and help in giving insights to clients or customer business team requirements.
One of the areas where we've had frustrations with Domo is the aesthetics. The aesthetics are quite limited compared to other BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

Setup Cost

Domo's pricing is higher but justified by robust features, flexible licensing, and included cloud infrastructure reducing IT needs.
Windward Core offers flexible and competitive pricing, ideal for enterprises with varied needs, supporting multiple deployment models.
Domo's pricing is high compared to other BI tools, and it is costly.
For long-time users, it can become expensive, but the trade-off is access to the entire platform instead of licensing different components separately.
They quoted approximately one dollar per KB.

Valuable Features

Domo excels in ETL, data visualization, governance, and collaboration, offering user-friendly tools for handling complex data tasks.
Windward Core integrates with Office tools, enabling non-technical users to generate complex reports with customizable templates effortlessly.
App Studio is valuable because it allows all the customization we needed; we can decode it, with the view and grid which are all I need, drill-downs, and everything can be done the way I need it.
I have been using it for four years and have been able to extract the information I need from it.
The most valuable feature of Domo is the fact that you can connect multiple inputs and you don't have to have a data warehouse.

Have improved workflow efficiency through custom reports but encountered formatting limitations
The downsides of Domo are that we don't have a feature in the same column. When data comes in a time format, text format, and number format, we cannot segregate and create conditional formatting in that column. If in the future they develop this feature, it will benefit more users. Domo requires maintenance on my end, such as updates. I am maintaining some dashboards on a weekly basis and monthly basis daily reports. Because we need to upload in SFTP, we cannot schedule or auto-schedule due to rate purposes. We manually handle the data sets. If there were an option to reduce the cost, it would be easier to access.

Strong layout and design capabilities; leverages every aspect available in Word-native formatting
The licensing key is a little bit twitchy. I'd like to see more HTML formatting support in templates. It has a basic stock of HTML formatting capability, but it doesn't have a rich vocabulary. I have to work around that sometimes. The help documentation and blog posts are extensive, but not always up to date. The error reports also need improvement. If you don't key it in right, it's a little hard to find the root cause. It gives you information as much as it can, but it doesn't really hone in and tell you explicitly what you should do to correct the problem.
