Centralized storage has supported long-term growth while simplifying regional data management
I consider the best features offered by Dell PowerVault to be that it is a platform that is easy to manage and does not require very broad technical expertise or advanced specialization, but at the same time it is a highly scalable platform. If the organization continues to grow over the coming years, we could add other elements to this same storage pool on the same platform. That gives us predictability and the assurance that we can continue relying on the same platform, even as the company continues to grow and develop over the coming years. Dell PowerVault is a super easy platform to manage and that is indeed something that stands out for us. When we went through the process of updating and upgrading from the previous platform we were using, which was also a platform based on Dell EMC technology, the big gain from moving this whole structure to Dell PowerVault is directly related to working with a cutting-edge platform, an extremely simple platform, and one that allows us all this scalability looking toward the future. I do not see managing advanced data management functions such as snapshots, replication, and provisioning with Dell PowerVault as something complex; it is something extremely simple and interactive, and the interface is quite easy to handle. Everything can be done through the interface itself, which is a very favorable point for this platform. I have used the HTML5 PowerVault Manager interface for ME5 and found it to be an extremely modern, simple, and stable interface, not only for doing all the initial configuration of the platform but also for day-to-day operation and management. It is an extremely robust and high-performance interface.

Has offered a cost-effective option with solid results but requires automation features for better efficiency
For ExaGrid EX, I would appreciate additional features such as backup and restore, automation processes, and automation software for backup and restore processes. I mention that some additional features may be provided by VMware or Dell as support for the hardware they are selling, but ExaGrid EX is more of a budget-friendly solution for customers who are in charge on a daily basis of the solution itself, dealing with manual tasks rather than automated tasks. I am not in a situation to provide an exact answer for what I would specifically improve in this regard.

Collaborate effectively with partners and benefit from robust data management capabilities
The functions of HPE StoreOnce that I find most valuable are its deduplication and replication options. These features save data and reduce the size of data significantly. If the actual size for backup data is 100 terabytes, using StoreOnce, it will be around less than 10% of the original size due to the 1 to 10 deduplication ratio. So, compression and replication are critical features I appreciate. Additionally, adaptive backup and restore capabilities of HPE StoreOnce are indeed very helpful functions. As I know from my technical team, the process is very easy for end users because the GUI and user experience with StoreOnce are straightforward. They can restore their backups at any time. An important feature of StoreOnce is that they can reserve an amount of storage capacity as protected capacity for a limited time, safeguarding their data against intrusion and other interactions. Based on feedback from customers, StoreOnce is regarded as a highly useful solution for backup. I am satisfied with the security aspects of HPE StoreOnce, but it's crucial for any company to maintain a multi-layer security approach. Starting with a firewall is essential for maintaining their environment. Additionally, security features on StoreOnce are useful. I believe that no company should rely solely on one layer of security; they should adopt a multi-layer security strategy that begins at the network level and extends to their internal solutions.

"We have got a perpetual license, and we have access to all the features. If you are using cloud banks, you can store the internal data in HPE Cloud if needed. You can offload the data to the HPE Cloud. It is a licensed product. We have got around 10 TB of cloud bank storage with a one-time payment. We specifically took 10 TB for very critical offsite backups. We can also increase it in blocks if needed."
"Price-wise, it comes with a high price tag when compared to other products."
