Collaboration works seamlessly and automation supports efficient file sharing
I work as a software engineer in fraud prevention projects where I function primarily as a data engineer. I work with data warehouses, which are centralized storage systems where transactions through databases occur and data from various client sources is consolidated. Amazon WorkDocs can be integrated with AWS Lambda and used with step functions. If publishing with SNS, WorkDocs can subscribe to SNS as well. The integration capabilities of WorkDocs with other AWS services are strong. For access, we use Okta with our AWS account, and we can only log in through our laptops. We authenticate and access whatever services we are authorized to use from the company. Mobile access is not allowed. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Amazon WorkDocs an 8.

Price and reliability need improvement while general tasks are streamlined
The pricing for Microsoft 365 is too high, and quality-wise, it does not meet high standards. The operating system is outdated and inadequate. Microsoft has very poor security, and Defender is ineffective. In terms of collaboration and file sharing, OneDrive is very clunky and has frequent sync issues. It also crashes a lot and is unreliable.

Pros

"For content sharing, it provides automation features that can be customized according to needs, which are some of the best features that I appreciate."
"This solution is great for inviting and sharing documents with other users."
"The solution can scale up or down easily to meet the needs of any organization."
"Microsoft Teams, without a shadow of a doubt, is the best platform ever. It is also very stable with a lot of options."
"The features such as meetings connected with Microsoft Teams and the integration is fabulous."
"It is easy to use. Because it is cloud-based, in terms of the user, you are not really affected in terms of performance when you are out of sight."
"Microsoft 365 Business is useful. It's very useful because, for example, if I can't find my phone, I can just log in and find it at home."
"My favorite feature is the collaboration."
"I don't have any issues with Microsoft 365 Business, it's a good tool."
"The best thing about the product is the ecosystem of it. As most of our users are using Windows and it's a product of Microsoft, we find we get amazing performance."

Cons

"The auditing features of Amazon WorkDocs have not helped meet compliance needs."
"I had a very bitter experience with their mobile app."
"The integration with other platforms could be improved."
"I would like to see more integration in the next release."
"It could be more user-friendly."
"Price is an area for improvement, as spending less money would always be preferable. However, the comprehensive nature of the solution justifies the cost."
"Some of the functionalities available in the desktop version are not available on the cloud."
"Video feeds cannot be disabled which is a distraction during video conferencing."
"Lower license options should come embedded with security."
"There should be more alignment between Windows solutions, mobile solutions, and web solutions."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It's cheaper compared to similar products available"
"I think that the price is fair."
"The price of the Microsoft 365 Business is fair. It is a great suite of products, but then there are other great products on the market as well. The main concern is competition. With Microsoft generally, it comes down to what people have become familiar with, what people have grown up using when they were younger, and when they are older. It depends on the actual adoption of the environment that they work in. The price is not an issue, it is about what people are used to using, and what they are familiar with is what influences their purchase."
"We pay a monthly licensing fee."
"There would be licensing costs because Microsoft 365 Business requires a product key and a license to be present in order to use its products."
"The price of the solution is costly but it is fair for what is offered. I have found that the billing model can definitely be improved. Currently, it is not very transparent. It is a big problem, especially in cloud-based models."
"There is an annual license required for this solution. For a smaller organization, it could be expensive."
"The base price is reasonable, but when it comes to the specialized tools for servers, the cost can become quite high."
"The implementation is company-wide and is already very flexible price-wise."
