Collaboration works seamlessly and automation supports efficient file sharing
I work as a software engineer in fraud prevention projects where I function primarily as a data engineer. I work with data warehouses, which are centralized storage systems where transactions through databases occur and data from various client sources is consolidated. Amazon WorkDocs can be integrated with AWS Lambda and used with step functions. If publishing with SNS, WorkDocs can subscribe to SNS as well. The integration capabilities of WorkDocs with other AWS services are strong. For access, we use Okta with our AWS account, and we can only log in through our laptops. We authenticate and access whatever services we are authorized to use from the company. Mobile access is not allowed. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Amazon WorkDocs an 8.

Collaborating securely across project teams has improved communication and streamlined workflows
In my view, Microsoft 365 Business has all the features, but there are some areas for improvement. One area is that the licensing structure can be confusing, especially with the different plans, so understanding each plan is somewhat difficult. When using large Excel files, such as extracting data from an SQL query and pasting it into Excel, it sometimes encounters performance issues when dealing with large files. Integration with non-Microsoft tools is sometimes limited; however, integration within the Microsoft tools is very good. It would be useful if it were possible to integrate with other tools outside of Microsoft. Managing permissions and access in SharePoint and Teams can be complex for new users, but once they become familiar with the tool, they can manage it easily. The security and permissions for new users in SharePoint and Teams can be made more intuitive for them. Additionally, the pricing structure, which involves explaining different plans, could be clearer to help users easily choose the plan they need. Improving performance when working on large Excel files would also be beneficial.

"This solution is great for inviting and sharing documents with other users."
"It's very good that it's an all-in-one solution with many Microsoft applications bundled within it."
"My favorite feature is the collaboration."
"The deployment is very easy."
"Microsoft offers many features; when one buys a Microsoft license, he pays for everything inclusively, including Windows, Office, databases, BI and other Microsoft solutions, and everything is visible."
"The solution is easy to use and has good performance."
"The collaboration capabilities we have now are amazing, and we really appreciate what it empowers us to achieve."
"I would like to use different tools than Microsoft 365 Business but I am working in the IT industry and it is quite easy to use some of the editors. For my wife and sons, it is more comfortable and easier to use Office 365. I encourage them to use some kind of editor directory in the browser."
"I like that there's no maintenance involved."

Cons

"The auditing features of Amazon WorkDocs have not helped meet compliance needs."
"I had a very bitter experience with their mobile app."
"I had a very bitter experience with their mobile app."
"As a customer, I would like the licensing fees to be cheaper."
"It would help, if, in the beginning, there was an onboarding process to show how to set it up properly or how to set up the things properly, or how to have the support they need or the guidance on how they should deploy it. In some cases, there are things that are not so crystal clear."
"We have OneNote, where you type something, and it's saved automatically, so if Microsoft could add that option in 365, it would help us avoid potential data loss."
"The solution could improve the user interface a little bit to make it easier to navigate."
"The downside of Microsoft 365 Business stems from the fact that it is a bit of a pricey product."
"Unfortunately the Teams feature doesn't allow for sharing your location which Office 365 previously had."
"The product lacks certain drawing tool capabilities."
"Sometimes, it tries to be a little bit too clever in preempting things that you want to do. The settings can be pretty complicated."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It's cheaper compared to similar products available"
"The licensing fees are paid yearly."
"I rate the pricing of the program a seven out of ten."
"The base price is reasonable, but when it comes to the specialized tools for servers, the cost can become quite high."
"Microsoft 365 Business could be cheaper."
"As a customer, I would like the licensing fees should be cheaper."
"The solution requires a license which is expensive."
"It could be cheaper. It's cloud-based, and we pay a yearly subscription."
"We do monthly billing, however, I'm not sure what the exact costs are. We may pay around $1,000/month. We started using the Microsoft Teams and we've started doing the conference call feature, so that's another $4 an account and we have a few accounts using that right now."
