The system makes it easier for emergency events to help spread the word. Though, the mobile app side of things is not the greatest.
District-wide Universal Phone System. We are a very large school district, and it was important to have a "Go To" Phone system. 8x8 was able to meet these goals.  Improved communication. The system makes it easier for emergency events to help spread the word.  The Ring Groups are a great feature…

Virtual training has supported collaborative learning and now needs a simpler and clearer interface
Webex can be simplified in terms of user interface, where many features should be displayed in a compact view, with similar features grouped together and a minimalistic design helping users understand what each button does. If specific features are not needed, they should not distract you, and some features should appear as sliding elements for ease of access. Additionally, connecting to Webex can be technical, and it would be beneficial to have a way to connect anonymously using a simple code instead of going through microphone issues.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"They have a very structured system of individuals and teams in place who help with deployment."
"The system makes it easier for emergency events to help spread the word."
"The Ring Groups are a great feature because it allows one main line to ring on several phones."
"What we like about Webex is that it is a hosted solution, so there is no demand for us to invest in hardware, skill, or manpower to maintain our cloud meeting capability."
"We had a multi-meeting, multi-location connected meeting, and it worked pretty well."
"The solution is perfectly stable, it normally performs very well."
"Lag-free video communication and virtual meeting software which runs smoothly."
"This is the best everyone knows about, but there are plenty other players."
"What we like about Webex is that it's easy to use, and it's easy to set meetings and connect to meetings on this solution."
"Its features are easy to navigate, easy to share, and easy to conduct meetings, and we are comfortable using it."
"I never had any issues with the stability of the product. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."

Cons

"The mobile app side of things is not the greatest. Call quality could be better. It is quite the battery killer on your phone."
"Webex's stability could be improved. It crashes very often. The user interface could also be improved to be more modern because it looks outdated."
"There is some difficulty in Webex, particularly when a third party needs access and that third party is not part of the domain of the company, it could be difficult."
"The solution is heavy and slow."
"No private chat option."
"The GUI of Webex should be improved. The connectivity for putting people inside the meetings or entering meetings is to be improved."
"The only thing it maybe needs is a chat. It is not very comfortable to use."
"It should be more integrated with third-party vendors."
"The connectivity can be improved because sometimes when we talk to clients that are overseas the connection is kind of poor. The video will be pixelated and we will need to turn off the video because the voice gets delayed."

What needs improvement with Webex?
Webex is top-notch at this point in time. The only improvement I see is related to RAM and CPU usage, as older systems with 4GB RAM or i3 processors might slow down the application. I do not have a...
