Web conferencing solution that can host hundreds of users without disruption
This solution allows the presenter to share their screen and draw on the screen to assist in explanations. You can create polls and quizzes to make it more interactive and to ensure that people understand what is being discussed and presented. I use this solution in my personal capacity.  This…

Collaborating in hybrid incident calls has become faster while the meeting interface still needs fixes
The best features are the ability to schedule meetings and launch ad hoc meetings. Additionally, we can create breakout rooms within the meeting itself, which is another excellent feature. Whenever we have production issues, many teams join a single Webex call. Sometimes we need to group together as separate smaller groups and work in parallel to identify the production issues. In those cases, we create Webex breakout rooms and each member joins the corresponding breakout session to progress on their task. Webex helps significantly in the hybrid environment. When we are working from home, it is very easy for us to meet with other team members and the management to get in touch and progress. Webex improves communication because even if we are working from home, we can connect with people and talk to them on a video call. It has improved the incident resolution time by getting into a call in Webex rooms and remediating the issues together as soon as possible. Audio and video quality is excellent for Webex. It has saved considerable time in terms of incident remediation. Whenever we have issues, we jump on a call and work together in parallel. This approach saves time and improves efficiency.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"All of their features are good. They are more or less equivalent to the competition. There's less disturbance, less jitter, the voice is always good even at a low bandwidth."
"We use GoToWebinar to do live pitch webinars and sales webinars, we use it to create all of our courses as well, we do training courses and our business pretty much revolves around using this tool for most of what we do."
"GoToWebinar polls help me quickly gauge, upfront, the audience’s interest in topics and their current level of knowledge."
"Scalability is good as you can host webinars with hundreds of participants without any lagging."
"This solution is very reliable. It is easy to switch between audio and microphone when using headphones."
"The most valuable feature is scheduling, which is quite simple and you can schedule a regular session with multiple occurrences."
"I can extract the activity and the attendance reports, along with every single question that was asked during the webinar, which is a feature that we highly value."
"Overall, this is a good product that is simple to use but I would rather use Webex for video conferencing."
"The noise cancellation feature is great; when you have a call, the noise cancellation during it is really good, and it's the best one if you're looking for that specific feature."
"It is easy to implement."
"We can access and conduct meetings remotely from anywhere using Webex."
"WebEx is the corporate gold standard for what it does best, that is easy, reliable sharing of content on my screen to one or several hundred people in real time."
"You can easily collaborate with your work colleagues even with your mobile phone."
"It is a scalable solution."
"Doing presentations on the solution is very good. There isn't much they could do to improve this aspect. It's excellent."
"I don't have deep experience with Webex, but it has a good interface and excellent video quality."

Cons

"In comparison, I don't feel that GoToWebinar has the range of customization and it feels quite antiquated in comparison to Teams."
"Some of my friends also use GoToWebinar to collect clients for affiliate marketing. In those cases, they found some features were missing with respect to some of the competition. And the worst part is the price."
"The platform feels old and a little rusty, more could be invested into the look and feel of it."
"The chat window and using polls is easier in Zoom than compared to GoToWebinar. Make it simpler and easier to publish polls on the fly would improve the solution."
"It's a little pricier than the others."
"The sharing of cameras is limited to meeting organizers."
"GoToWebinar would be improved with the inclusion of support for video endpoints."
"The technical support is quite bad."
"Greater visibility beyond infrastructure metrics would be beneficial. We could leverage insights into business performance indicators as well. I believe that incorporating more predictive capabilities into Webex for the next version would be beneficial."
"I would like for them to include a collaboration tool so that you can directly do a video call or audio call to your colleagues or anyone in the office."
"The initial setup was a little bit complex."
"The software, licenses and hardware combine to make the solution extremely expensive."
"Customer Service: Poor Technical Support: Average"
"We no longer use Webex because we found Microsoft Teams to be more stable."
"I had a hard time integrating this solution within my environment. I prefer Microsoft Teams over Webex."
"When it was just two people trying to conference, it was easier."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is a monthly subscription and the price is quite expensive if you're not paying annually."
"This is a free solution."
"There is a license needed to use this solution."
"Price is the one area where Webex needs to improve relative to its competitors. It's difficult to sell to small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) because of the license price."
"The charges attached to the subscriptions of the product are okay. There are no extra charges to be paid in addition to the standard licensing fees."
"Features matter more than the price for us. As long as we get all the features we want and it fits our budget, then the price doesn't matter. I can't speak for other companies. We have tried other applications, and we run into some problems that we don't see in Webex."
"There is a need to pay the licensing charges to use Webex Enterprise Edition."
"Webex is a cheaply priced tool."
"The tool's licensing is expensive, but it should be cheaper."
"The cost is pretty high compared to the competitors."
