My experience has been positive; their response to emails or phone calls in tech support is fast, usually between eight to ten hours.
Response through chat has been replaced by chatbots, which has impacted the experience.
There is no way to mark the importance or criticality of incidents when creating them.
Their technical support is responsive, which is good, and their solutions are timely.

The stability of Tricentis Tosca is rated ten out of ten. It is very stable.
I find stability issues when using the Vision AI feature; Tricentis Tosca is not very stable.
I would rate it a nine out of ten for stability.

Room For Improvement

Selenium HQ requires better browser support, enhanced reporting, frequent updates, mobile testing, improved documentation, and user-friendly features.
Tricentis Tosca struggles with upgrades, high costs, mobile testing difficulties, and requires improvements in AI, UI, and reporting.
Worksoft Certify needs database, UI, and performance enhancements, plus improved support, integration, and AI features for better user experience.
An automatic update mechanism for Selenium HQ would be beneficial, eliminating the need for manual downloads and updates of browser drivers when new versions are released.
I don't know if we have that capability to provide different data sources such as SQL Server, CSV, or maybe some other databases, so that kind of capability would be great.
Moving to a cloud-based application rather than a desktop one could improve Tosca.
The Vision AI implementation works very slowly, affecting the speed of our work.
If a button in an application changes, Tricentis Tosca should be smart enough to detect the change and still execute the script seamlessly.
Focusing more on AI and its integration with Worksoft would really help enhance our processes.
There are still some minor issues concerning continuous testing, particularly related to the timeout feature.

Setup Cost

Selenium HQ is a cost-effective, open-source tool, though additional expenses may arise for maintenance, implementation, and expertise.
Tricentis Tosca's pricing is high, appealing to large enterprises with flexible licensing, though costly for smaller companies.
Worksoft Certify is pricey, with discounts for bulk licenses, affecting smaller businesses more due to high initial setup costs.
The pricing for Tricentis Tosca is extremely high, and I rate it as ten in terms of expense.
A yearly license costs around 20,000 euros.
For enterprise customers, the cost is manageable because it provides solutions for multiple applications they want to automate.
As it is a quality tool, the price is slightly higher, but that is acceptable compared to other tools, especially considering the ROI.
The pricing is minimal and moderate.

Valuable Features

Selenium HQ provides cost-free, adaptable, cross-platform testing with customization, CI tool compatibility, and a supportive community.
Tricentis Tosca offers model-based automation, scriptless testing, drag-and-drop functionality, and AI optimization, enhancing ease of use and integration.
Worksoft Certify enables script-free automation, simplifying process documentation and testing across platforms with drag-and-drop functionality and seamless integration.
New features in Selenium HQ make object identification easier without reliance on XPath and CSS.
When we were doing these tests manually, it took several hours of effort, and those hours, when counted on the basis of person days, used to be maybe six or seven months of effort, which we can now do every day by running the pipeline.
It allows for drag-and-drop functionality and demo automation in SAP-based applications, which can be challenging with other automation tools.
The most useful features of Tricentis Tosca include API scanning, basic web application automation, and data validation capabilities.
The modular approach reduces scripting effort by at least fifty percent, which significantly cuts down on the script development time.
Teams who are planning for automation and are still in manual testing can use Worksoft Certify, and significant time and resources will be reduced.
We're getting good value from continuous testing management, and the fact that it's also codeless is valuable.

Automation in testing processes sees improvement with multi-browser support and easier website interactions
Selenium HQ could improve by including a robust reporting framework, eliminating the need for external frameworks. The tool could simplify object identification, enabling users to generate XPaths without requiring detailed DOM understanding. Additionally, an automatic update mechanism for Selenium HQ would be beneficial, eliminating the need for manual downloads and updates of browser drivers when new versions are released.

Has transformed testing by reducing scripting effort and enhancing productivity with advanced features
The self-healing feature of Tricentis Tosca needs significant improvement. Currently, it is static and not dynamic. For example, if a button in an application changes, Tricentis Tosca should be smart enough to detect the change and still execute the script seamlessly. Improvements are needed to ensure it responds dynamically to changes in the application.

Has streamlined SAP test automation and reduced regression cycle time through no-code capabilities
Worksoft Certify is a no-code tool that works effectively with SAP, and I appreciate all the features compared to other tools. Teams who are planning for automation and are still in manual testing can use Worksoft Certify, and significant time and resources will be reduced. Reporting for Worksoft Certify is also excellent; we have the BPP reports customized, and recently WRS has been implemented, so all these features are beneficial.
