Increases productivity with automation and robust orchestration capabilities
The community is very powerful, with extensive knowledge bases available. There are ready-made workflows, integration with other products, a nice user interface, and reporting. The tool is flexible, agent-based or agentless. It allows significant automation and has robust orchestration and reporting capabilities. It is easy to configure and use, leading to increased efficiency across our IT processes.

Simplifies integrations and is suitable for large companies
Sometimes, when our company develops using the latest technology, the knowledge is not yet cycled down to the tool's support team. The tool's support team is not mature enough to handle the tool. The promotion of a feature before it is mature may cause issues, and I feel that sometimes the deployment of such features is a little too early. The tool will release a feature, but it will have bugs in it. We face challenges because the tool's team doesn't have the knowledge to deal with the issues in the product's new features. When SAP develops something, if the tool's team doesn't know how to support it, it becomes a problem because now we have to access developers to get the information that is not readily available.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The community is very powerful, with extensive knowledge bases available."
"Four years ago, we created a new department for automation, and today the organization has a lot of trust in us and we are placed in each strategic architecture, everybody knows us, trusts us, and is happy to work with us, and we are problem solvers and the innovation robo team."
"We have reduced the amount of time it would take to resolve an incident or to send an escalation to a customer, and it has saved us many man hours."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the sustainability and the simplicity around the usage."
"The product is good functionality-wise. I am impressed with the tool's flexibility in customization."
"This solution enables the automation of workflow."
"This tool addresses all our disparate capabilities, bringing all those systems together, so we have been able to orchestrate per product and tie those things together to automate processes that were manual in the past, allowing us to turn around systems a lot quicker and in a repeatable way."
"This solution basically does everything that we need it to do."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is that it offers an integrated development environment."

Cons

"Only the tool's support can be a drawback where improvements are needed."
"It's not a perfect solution, such as with the customization prompts."
"Simple things are missing – being unable to easily capture flow inputs in an automated fashion is one (I shouldn’t have to write an SQL query for this)."
"Customer Service: Below average, 2/10. A lot is needed to be improved upon in their customer service."
"There are automation tools out there that are more unified -- network, database, servers. Operations Orchestration doesn't do everything and you need to buy other components for other tasks."
"We have used technical support and we've had our ups and downs with them."
"If you're running it in a Windows environment, you're tied to the inefficiency and quirkiness of Windows."
"The price is an area that should be addressed because the price is high."
"The tool's support team is not mature enough to handle the tool."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost is very high compared to anything else available."
"I do not have experience with the pricing or licensing of the product."
"The tool is expensive. I rate the tool a six if one is cheap and ten is very expensive."
"The product is not cheaply priced."
