Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I like the processing feature on the product because it does everything at once, i.e, indexing, recovery, keyword searches, etc.""It indexes much faster, and is more reflexive because of the Enscripts.""It speeds up the process, so I can meet my deadlines.""Data Recovery: Its ability to repair damaged partitions and uncover hidden partitions from within the tool, and allow further analysis.""The most important feature we've found is the Enscripts. That is one powerful feature that I, personally, love to use.""The technical support is excellent.""The solution is very stable."

"The solution is easy to set up.""It's easy to deploy.""It is stable.""What I like best about Sophos EPP Suite is that it's a good product. What's nice about it is that after I installed it on my computer, the tool detects and eliminates most of the problems, malware, and vulnerabilities. It works very well and is very efficient because it doesn't use up many resources from my computer. For me, Sophos EPP Suite is the best security and antivirus solution. In terms of its endpoint capabilities, I'm unable to comment on other Sophos security devices, but it seems Sophos EPP Suite has a next-generation firewall feature, though I didn't use it, and it may not be comparable to other next-generation firewalls. My current firewall is a next-generation firewall from Fortinet, and it's the best firewall for me in terms of cost and security, but for endpoint protection, I use Sophos EPP Suite, and it has the best security for my device. The tool is also good for organizations. It's the best tool.""The most valuable feature is endpoint detection and response.""The solution's setup is straightforward and doesn't take much time to complete.""It was successful in preventing malware distribution.""The solution's most valuable aspect, for us, is the DLP portion of the product."

Cons
"The reporting is a bit unreliable. It needs to be better.""There were minor UI bugs.""Sometimes the application can take more time to complete the image processing or fail at the end of the process.""I would like to see a capability to ingest and absorb more data. That would be really good. It currently is lacking this function.""Ease of use and learning curve need improvement.""We have come across problems with the end-case. We could not find an email discovery type of module and there was not flexibility with the email.""In the past, incident response time for tech support was slow."

More OpenText EnCase eDiscovery Cons →

"If you are not an IT expert, the solution is difficult to use.""Sophos is lacking in the granularity of optimization, so having more control would be better.""The solution could improve in configuration and the central logging and dashboard.""I would like to have more logging features to help more deeply analyze traffic.""The solution isn't quite accurate enough. It provides a lot of false positives.""The product's resource utilization is a concern, especially regarding memory usage on systems with older specifications such as lower memory and less powerful processors.""One area for improvement in Sophos EPP Suite is the support response time, particularly of the management team. It could be faster because I only got a response from the manager after a few days. If you open a case directly from the website, the response from the technical support agent may have been faster. I didn't open the request from the website, so that could be the reason why the response time took longer.""Sometimes there are issues with the antivirus back logs."
