Retrieves data from quarantines and easy to read logs with robust security features
Some of the searchability when looking for specifics in Exchange logs is tedious. Although eventually the information is located, it can be difficult if detailed information is lacking. Improving the search process by allowing searches with different types of parameters and facilitating searches within emails would be advantageous. Simplifying interfaces would also be appreciated.

Offers clear vision on the clear side of what is being blocked and easy to use but a bit old-fashioned GUI
I would rate my experience with the initial setup a four out of ten when one is difficult, and ten is easy. It's difficult initially since it's an on-premise solution. So it's a bit difficult. So the initial assessment took a few days, and then the deployment was a couple of days. It is on-prem. That is also one of the improvements you need to make on the cloud. Most of the people like things to be on the cloud. You don't have the burden of setting up things on-premise.

Pros

"What I like most about Microsoft Exchange Online Protection is its integration with Windows, so we have one central view for all alerts and incidents."
"It has a really nice web-based administration console."
"The solution's stability is very, very good. I didn't face any problems in the last year."
"The pre-set policies and configuration analyzer are the most valuable features."
"Online Protection's most valuable feature is its admin interface."
"We can migrate seamlessly without any disruptions to our operations."
"The scalability is pretty good; it does what it is supposed to do."
"We use the solution to receive emails. We do not use the calendar function as our clients are slow adaptors to the latest features."
"The product's most valuable features are spam protection and artificial intelligence."
"I like that it doesn't hold emails for any reason; it sends out notifications to the user as well as administrators. So we have a clear vision on the clear side of what is being blocked and in time as well."

Cons

"They should specify the difference between Defender for Office 365 and Exchange Online Protection."
"The solution lacks to elaborate on its spam policies."
"Microsoft 365 Defender and EOP policies are stable with the proper license. However, with the basic policy, it's hard to say it's stable due to configuration limitations."
"Some features, like encryption, are not available."
"The biggest issue that I experience is that Microsoft keeps moving things around, and it's very inconsistent as to where you find the information when you're trying to work on different pieces."
"When you're using a Microsoft product solution, you can scale it, but if you're not, there are limitations."
"The security features could be better."
"I would like to get reports about vulnerable connections from our clients with information about domains, public IPs, etc. That would be highly useful."
"There is room for improvement in GUI because it is a bit old-fashioned."
"The technical support services and stability need improvement as well."

Pricing and Cost Advice
