We performed a comparison between IFS Cloud Platform and Oracle Fusion Service based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two CRM solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."All the modules are valuable in their own right, but everything has to go through the ERP. IFS has done an excellent job integrating the various modules to complete these processes. My expertise is in the finance module, but I have used the other verticals. It's an all-around good product."
"IFS Applications' best feature is the user-friendly interface that has a .NET Framework application in the front end and an Oracle database and WebLogic middleware."
"The most valuable feature is the distribution module."
"The financial posting controls are quite handy. The user interface is really friendly, highly flexible, and pretty intuitive for end users."
"We could quickly understand what was going on and what the customer wanted to do."
"Some of the strengths are Enterprise Management Solutions and the series of Management solutions which is number one in Gartner's report and has been for the last five years."
"IFS has been completely rebuilt, modernized, and cloud-based so we don't need bulky software installations."
"When it comes to financing, the solution has helped us to concentrate finance functions like accounting processes in one system. This includes about 70 internal entities around the world."
"The product's most valuable feature is an efficient fusion of finance and HR modules."
"Previously, my clients used a smaller ERP system, not a major one. However, they have now transitioned to Oracle, which provides them with a more extensive range of options. Unlike before, it's now an integrated system that covers various aspects, including finance, supply chain management, and other functionalities."
"The service management features are valuable."
"Oracle's strength lies in swiftly building and deploying enterprise applications globally."
"Stable and scalable with good technical support."
"Oracle offers a wide range of applications, each capable of delivering significant value to our business."
"It offers a seamless experience with quick deployment—eliminating prolonged implementation and installation processes."
"Oracle Service Cloud could improve the integration for older platforms."
"The user interface can be improved. When you're clicking through the screens, there are some icons or symbols that really need updating and would be more useful and noticeable if they are aesthetically pleasing."
"It would be ideal if, in the future, the product could incorporate IoT and blockchain elements. We'd like to explore more of these types of features going forward."
"IFS uses Crystal Report mostly, which isn't too user-friendly. Developing reports isn't easy and requires a lot of dev time. Since SAP bought it, Crystal Report has become more complicated to use on IFS. You have a dashboard for reporting that is good, but it's incomplete. Most of our clients use Power BI or some additional tooling for BI."
"The integration is a bit complex, and post-implementation support services need to be improved. They have a service center based out of Sri Lanka. The support aspect is good, but the response time is a little slower than we anticipated. In the next release, it would be better if Warehouse Management could be improvised. They have a product line that's a data warehouse management system, but it's still premature and requires a bit of enhancement."
"The solution needs to improve its documentation and user-friendliness."
"There are certain digital features that need to be incorporated, such as IOP."
"IFS Applications is not robust enough to handle high-volume transactions, so it's not suitable for larger enterprises."
"Customization needs to be improved."
"Oracle changed the means by which users are created in the system. I would like this to be easier to implement."
"The product must provide modules for operations management."
"Oracle Fusion Service needs to improve its documentation part because we do not have proper documentation."
"The solution’s reporting could be improved."
"There are specific areas that would be beneficial to enhance and improve, especially its financial functionality, search capabilities, chat features, and content articles."
"Oracle Service Cloud could improve the integration for older platforms."
"We built some custom code to make a few functions easier. Oracle needs to look at what the customers do and integrate them into the product."
"The user experience has to be much better."
