Cloud security has improved remote access and has reduced costs for smaller client sites
I have used Cloudflare One's Identity-Aware Proxy, and it is quite straightforward from what I have seen so far. The app registration on the Azure side integrates fully into Cloudflare, and I am very satisfied with that part because it is easy to set up. The integration of Cloudflare One's Secure Web Gateway and Zero Trust Network Access works without any issues. That part is pretty automatic, and if you complete the rest of the setup, it comes together by itself with no issues from my side. What makes it nice is that we can actually start replacing on-site firewalls at this stage for the smaller clients because it does not matter if they go to a coffee shop or work from home; they are still secured by the same connection. The hops get shorter and you get better latency. We have done testing to see if it is better. One thing that we did notice with our proof of concept with our current client is that they have people connecting from the UK. When they used their previous VPN solution, uploading CAD drawings and other files to the server took a long time. They mentioned that it is much quicker on Cloudflare One's solution. I definitely believe that is part of the improved performance, and I am satisfied with that as well. What is nice about Cloudflare One is that it makes the setup easier and also easier to train technicians to maintain it. Compared to legacy systems, we do not need to get fancy firewalls in place that are costly. That is definitely also a cost-saver with Cloudflare One.

Quarantine workflows have shifted risk to business and provide strong PII protection across channels
Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention can be improved because the options nowadays involve the use of AI. The approach of Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is still very traditional, where I have to create the policy for each and everything. The AI component is missing in Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention, where based on user behavior analytics, it could give us suggestions. This type of improvement is needed in Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention. Additionally, the hardware costing goes up when it comes to Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention because it requires large resources in the implementation part. Not regarding the user interface, but nowadays other DLP solutions have come up with the CASB part and the SaaS platform they are providing. Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is still lagging there, and I have to rely on the on-premises setups. The management part has been difficult as I have to patch the servers, restart them, and regularly take backups. These are a few tedious things that I have to do while managing Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention. This part also needs to be improved in Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention.

Have built a zero trust foundation that protects customer data and reduces business risk
To improve Securiti, I would say that ultimately the IT team as well as the business team, there has to be an amalgamation of their thought process, convergence of their thoughts, objectives, aspirations for achieving the business objective of a particular organization. The way forward is to form the fusion team wherein there is a judicious mix of business and IT and both the teams understand each other's limitations and the aspirations and the common objectives. As far as needed improvements in Securiti, I would say that automation is key. If you look at the kind of huge amount of data which SOC integrated devices are generating in terms of alerts, automation or the appropriate use of AI is the way forward. That will lead to the overall improvement in the efficiency as well as the threat intelligence will be much more accurate. To my mind, automation with the augmented use of GenAI or the agentic AI solution is the way forward. I choose eight for Securiti because for it to be a nine or 10, ultimately the uptime has to be improved, it should be nearing 100%. Apart from that, there has to be more unified communication happening between various customer facing applications. These siloed applications having their own kind of security solutions implemented also have to be brought on a uniform platform. Until that happens, there is always a gap which has to be filled. The processes within the SOC, whether it is SIEM, NBAD, or your DAM, alert analysis, logs analysis, these have to be predictive analysis, and the thwarting of the cyber attacks still requires more effort.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Cloudflare is simple to use."
"What makes it nice is that we can actually start replacing on-site firewalls at this stage for the smaller clients because it does not matter if they go to a coffee shop or work from home; they are still secured by the same connection."
"The best feature is rate limiting. If I'm expecting 500 visits per hour, Cloudflare will limit the requests if I suddenly get 50,000."
"We mostly use Cloudflare WAF, and gets basic Cloudflaire DDoS, caching as extra bonus . We like the factor these features are all integrated into 1 console, simple to manage."
"The blocking feature is very good."
"If someone is looking into using Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention, I advise that if they are looking for a traditional DLP with proper visibility, then Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is the best product to go with."
"I think it's the most cost-effective and affordable solution compared to other solutions that I have."
"I like the encryption feature of this solution as well as the proxy aspect of it."
"The ease of configuration was probably one of its biggest selling points."
"Has multiple modules and is good with integration."
"A very user-friendly predefining feature."
"The product is good and reliable, the vendor company is continually improving it, and they seem to stay one step ahead."
"You can consider Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention a strong solution, as I have seen multiple classification methods and high accuracy, allowing you to create fewer false positives compared to many competitors."
"The initial setup is easy."
"The process mapping is a good tool. We have a nice view of their data."
"With that kind of high availability and the continuous threat exposure management, CTEM, we are quite sure and we have proved our worth to the business in implementing the cyber security solutions."
"The quality of the learning that Securiti offers, especially considering that the courses are free, is incredible."
"The drag-and-drop features make Securiti easy to use, even for individuals who are not tech-savvy."
"Technical support for Securiti is good."
"The best features Securiti offers include that the data discovery was really good, it was easy to set up, and the view was a differential compared with other solutions, so we could see in a map where our data were located and investigate better who was using that data, who was responsible for that data and secure who had access to it."
"It's very scalable. I would rate it ten out of ten for scalability."

Cons

"Our subscription plan for the solution has a limitation of bot signatures."
"The tool should provide on-premise versions. Currently, all versions are cloud-based."
"When there are any dynamic changes in complex applications, the tool takes a lot of time, making its analytics-related area a major matter of concern where improvements are needed."
"The response time for support must be reduced."
"I would like them to include a VPN feature to provide a secure connection to the data center."
"Automation could be improved where you can easily add a TLS and SSL certificate to an application or web app if the developer did not include it."
"The initial onboarding was causing us some confusion."
"Feedback could be enhanced. While I work efficiently with Clover as a partner in Mexico City, sometimes the information and requests are easier to manage with more concrete solutions."
"This solution has a tendency to provide false-positive results."
"It is a bit expensive."
"Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention can be improved by adding more compliance options and making it more regional-based because at the moment, some of the rules are just standard."
"Improvement in Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention, especially when applying a positive DLP approach, needs to focus on decreasing false positive incidents."
"It does not serve our purpose."
"An area for improvement for Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is its price. It would be good if they could offer better pricing."
"There's zero Forcepoint presence in West Africa. Customers typically like having these things close to them. It would help if they had a presence here. Right now, Forcepoint West Africa has been administered from South Africa. Because of this, customers can't access premium support in our region."
"I have worked with another DLP solution in and out, and I find that solution to be more stable than Forcepoint. With Forcepoint, I always need to check whether the policy is functional or not and whether my policy is getting synchronized on the detection server or not."
"It's not very fast, and it's difficult to get an answer."
"I would like their workflows and assessment automation to be more advanced compared to their competitors, especially under the pro core privacy module."
"One limitation of Securiti is that it can only classify about 30% to 40% of my data."
"I could see that in an environment where we had a lot of information, sometimes it was a little slow with Securiti, so I believe they could improve by making the solution faster in big environments."
"Technical support needs enhancement. It would be helpful to have better documentation and more accessible support, especially when raising support tickets."
"With the formation and education, specifically the security education, they could update the educational video more often."
"Fraud prevention could be improved. If a criminal accesses my system and obtains my information, they might commit fraud."
"Technical support can be hit or miss. Some technical staff are great, but others are not very effective. On average, I would rate the technical support four out of ten."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"My company has to make yearly payments towards the licensing costs attached to the solution. There are no hidden charges apart from the licensing costs of the solution."
"Cloudflare Zero Trust Platform's pricing is good."
"The pricing of the solution is cheap. The licensing cost is also very low. I rate the cost and pricing a three out of ten."
"The prices are slightly expensive."

"There is an annual subscription model and the amount depends on the type of implementation."
"They have to look at a different pricing structure for small to medium-sized enterprises because the cost is too high."
"From one to ten, where one is low, and ten is high, I rate the solution's pricing to be an eight."
"The pricing for Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is more expensive than Symantec, but it's negotiable. It depends on how well you negotiate. The solution is worth the money, though, based on the services and facilities it provides to my company."
"I prefer Forceoint because it is cheaper than Symantec."
"It's not the cheapest solution but it's not the most expensive. It's a good price for a good product."
