Performs well, does not slow down the computer, and protects emails
The quality of protection is very important. The tool must also not slow down the computer. The quality of the user interface and the way the solution is updated must also be considered. The updates depend on certain situations. People who want to use the solution must check how it is working, check the memory, and the processes that are run. We must check if there are any unwanted features. For example, some antivirus tools install other services that are not necessary, and they are frequently updated. It won’t be a problem for a user who has a computer with more RAM, but it will be difficult to use it on an old computer with less RAM. The IT department uses remote features. Sometimes, they change some configurations remotely. Overall, I rate the tool a nine out of ten.

Protects user data and offers data control and has an easy deployment
The most valuable feature is encryption control. If you have a laptop, it guarantees that the data is not missing or lost. It’s easy to deploy and has a central console where you can see whether the laptops are encrypted, updated, and protected. It protects devices, including USB and other external devices, and guarantees data loss protection. Additionally, with device control, you can ensure that no ransomware is introduced into the network. For me, this is of very high value.

"It is one of the best products when it comes to stability."
"Security-wise, it's one of the best."

Cons

"My problem is that there's a technical glitch and they don't have a fix for it. It's not working with the latest version of Windows, which is a problem."
"The product should be more responsive regarding feedback if it detects something in our infrastructure. I believe there's a backend that their engineers use to detect viruses in our system. We would appreciate it if they could promptly provide feedback and give us recommendations on how to better protect our infrastructure beyond their system. Additionally, we hope for improved integration with the other systems we currently use. It would be beneficial if they could collaborate to create something that facilitates integration between these systems."
"There could be an option for users to restart the system without a password."
"ESET Endpoint Encryption needs to improve pricing and security."
"The initial setup could be made easier."
"Sometimes the server console is very slow, so the performance could be improved."
"Integration with central management needs improvement."
"I would like to see better compatibility with mobile devices."
"The solution lacks direct connectivity to Azure AD."
"The product's next release could have integration features with different internal and external systems."
"Sometimes, multiple updates and crashes happen in the tool, making it an area where improvements are required."
"I cannot think of any improvements right now."
"There are times that this solution takes up too much memory that needs to be resolved. If it is not fixed it will definitely create issues in the future."
"It would be ideal if the solution had different features within one agent."
"The Office 360 integration could be improved."
"Having a DLP integrated with the encryption engine would be very good."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Instead of installing ESET on each machine at each location, we just do it remotely. This has been a time saver for us."
"The National University System dedicates 500 of their 5000 licenses to us, which is $14/yr per device. Most companies are paying $99 or $120 per device a year."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is the lowest and ten is the highest, I rate its pricing a two."
"There are some inexpensive products compared to ESET Endpoint Encryption, but they lack the essential features."
"It is neither very expensive, nor cheap. Overall it is affordable and there is a long term arrangement between our company and the solution providers for license."
"The pricing is mid-ranged and could be more cost-effective."
"We paid for an annual subscription, and it was reasonable."
"ESET Endpoint Encryption is moderately priced."
"Licensing for this solution is on a yearly basis."
"The platform is reasonably priced considering its functionality and adaptability. It is subscription-based."
"Pricing for Sophos SafeGuard should be transparent. If you want to get support for Sophos SafeGuard, you don't get pricing information about support costs, and in the end, you'll get charged more."
"Regarding pricing, it's a middle-priced solution. We typically use Sophos SafeGuard with the Sophos firewall, which includes VPN connections. The cost depends on the number of users, with some customers requiring hundreds of connections and others needing around a thousand."
"I rate the product price a six on a scale of one to ten, where one is a low price, and ten is a high price."
"The licensing costs depend on the series. For example, XG 85 can be around $200. If you go to ACC or to a four or five-year enterprise solution, you will find these devices can cost $10,000. It depends on the series."
"It would be great if the price of the solution was lower than the current price. If we are to sell this particular solution to smaller businesses and not just enterprise businesses it needs to be lower."
"The pricing is reasonable."
