We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Intune device restriction policies enable me to enforce limitations on the device, like blocking the mobile camera or restricting the employees from using and inserting USB devices, including thumb drives and flash drives.""I like that it's very good and very simple. I found that we just needed to have a proper subscription for an Intune tenant, and from the subscription, if we have the right role assigned, like the global admin role or the owner role, we can use Microsoft cloud resources. With the help of that, we can do many things like setting up Microsoft Intune in the cloud to create our virtual machines. All these can be done, and the steps are very simple. I really liked it. I like features like Windows Auto-Enrollment. I like it very much because whenever you supply it to the end-user, it will be ready to use immediately. The end-user only needs to provide the user credentials, and then they are good to go. I also really like Cloud PC, which was recently launched on Azure.""The solution is easy to use.""It's very informative when there is an error. It allows us to backtrace where the error is and resolve that ourselves. It's a bit of a Swiss Army penknife. We find that it fixes most issues.""For the price, the features included with Microsoft are appealing.""Easy to use.""The synchronization of Intune with other Microsoft solutions is a valuable feature.""The ability to block and erase remote devices is valuable to us, especially when those devices are lost."

More Microsoft Intune Pros →

"We have seen improvements in compliance management on the devices.""A valuable feature of Citrix Endpoint Management is that it's stable. The stability is not a challenge among the move to the cloud.""The MAM applications of the product are great.""One key feature is secure application delivery, which enables the secure delivery of mobile and web applications to end-user devices. This ensures data protection and compliance with corporate policies.""ShareFile, in particular, is valuable with its ease of sharing, and the best category security that is in the hands of users.""The product is capable of acting in many different ways to help secure architecture."

More Citrix Endpoint Management Pros →

"The most valuable feature is that everything is in one place, which makes it easy to manage.""The user interface is user-friendly.""It's effective in what it is able to achieve and it's easy to use.""The company provides great customer service.""The most valuable features of MobileIron UEM are tunneling and enterprise integration."

Cons
"It's the granularity: 'Is your firewall on? Is BitLocker on?' It's not amazing granularity. But I've looked into other products, like Duo, and they're all similar.""Enhancements for managing MacOS more comprehensively would be beneficial.""Areas for improvement in Intune include expanding support beyond Samsung devices to accommodate other Android manufacturers like Redmi and Motorola.""I'd suggest adding more features for macOS in Intune. There should be more functionality for managing macOS. There should be a better capability for pushing things down on macOS. Currently, Intune is not capable of managing macOS at the same level as Windows.""The mobile and tablet-based versions need improvement because they are not completely user-friendly, compared to the web version. Also, data synchronization with our existing asset manager, the synchronization between multiple assets and multiple devices, takes a lot of time due to the security scanning. It should be reduced.""The solution requires Mac support.""Microsoft Intune lacks the ability to provide seamless remote assistance or remote control.""It would be better if they can reduce the cost of the license."

More Microsoft Intune Cons →

"Support for inventory management of Apple devices should be added.""Citrix often depends on other services like backend data centers, network security, and application firewalls. Issues in these areas can be misinterpreted as Citrix issues by users.""The tool’s battery usage was high.""Requires integrating with ABM before enabling some of the features.""Citrix needs to improve the architecture. They also need to strengthen the application integration. They keep referring to some things to be required as security, and they keep selling the next level and on-premise separately. They should give the customer the opportunity to decide whether they want to use the next level on-premise or on-cloud, but they should not charge additional fees if the customer wants to deploy the next level on-premise because the customer is already being charged as the end user. They should allow next level on-premise optimization without any additional charges."

More Citrix Endpoint Management Cons →

"We would like the initial setup to be simpler.""UI needs an upgrade, feels very outdated.""MobileIron UEM could improve the monitoring of devices.""The integration between the MobileIron and Advanced Neurons isn't completely in sync, and we're still working on that.""The interface is complicated and not very easy to use."

    Reviews from Real Users

Microsoft Intune stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its ability to secure all devices under its management and the flexibility that the solution offers its users.

A computing services manager notes, "Its security is most valuable. It gives us a way to secure devices, not only those that are steady. We do have a few tablets and other devices, and it is a way for us to secure these devices and manage them. We know they're out there and what's their status. We can manage their life cycle and verify that they're updated properly."

The head of IT engineering at a financial services company writes, "The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types: we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager (MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company details on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."

XenMobile is a comprehensive solution to manage mobile apps, data and devices, available both on-premises and in the cloud. Users have single-click access to all of their apps from a unified corporate app store and IT can easily configure, secure and support mobile devices. With XenMobile technology, IT can meet their compliance and control needs while giving users the freedom to experience work and life their way.
