Check Point Infinity and ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform compete in enterprise security. Check Point appears to have the upper hand with its integrated solutions and comprehensive security architecture, despite some user concerns.
Features: Check Point Infinity offers centralized control over office, data centers, cloud environments, and mobile devices, Smart Console integrated management, and advanced threat prevention with AI-driven features. ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform emphasizes its allowlisting for application control, Elevation Control for administrative access, and strong compatibility with various devices.
Room for Improvement: Check Point Infinity could improve by clarifying its licensing models, enhancing documentation for newer technologies, and speeding up tech support. ThreatLocker benefits from expanding identity and multi-factor authentication, automating learning mode, and better web filtering support.
Ease of Deployment and Customer Service: Check Point Infinity provides a flexible deployment across various environments and has generally positive customer service feedback, though some find issue resolution time-consuming. ThreatLocker excels in a seamless setup process and reliable support, with potential enhancements in real-time service.
Pricing and ROI: Check Point Infinity is seen as expensive but offers substantial ROI through comprehensive security and time-saving features. Its variable pricing reflects architecture and license needs. ThreatLocker provides competitively priced integrated functionality, reducing redundancy and encouraging cost savings.
When I use different Check Point tools, I save support time overall.
The value is in the capacity to protect against problems or attacks with technology, developing and strengthening cybersecurity policies and administration.
I would say we can save about 90% of our budget with Check Point Infinity.
If something were to happen without ThreatLocker, the cost would be huge, and thus, having it is definitely worth it.
Based on what we use ThreatLocker Zero Trust Endpoint Protection Platform for with the same functionalities and packaging, it was around 13 or 14 hours.
We have the MDR package as well, and just knowing someone is watching those endpoints at 3:00 a.m. is a lifesaver that you cannot put a dollar figure on.
As soon as we raise a ticket, they engage promptly, indicating strong vendor support.
The technical support is excellent with quick response times.
Check Point support is very responsive.
They have been very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable.
I would rate their customer support a ten out of ten.
Their support is world-class.
The Infinity Portal lets us manage on-premises, cloud and edge environments from a single elastic console.
We have not faced any issues with scalability.
Check Point Infinity is scalable because Check Point has a deployment ecosystem with technical support and the quality of the final information from these tools.
I started off with just the servers, and within a month and a half, I set up the entire company with ThreatLocker.
It seems to primarily operate on the endpoints rather than at a central location pushing out policies.
ThreatLocker Zero Trust Endpoint Protection Platform scales very smoothly with our growing needs.
Check Point Infinity is a very stable solution; I don't remember experiencing any downtime.
Check Point Infinity is very stable for our company.
Check Point Infinity has achieved a 99.9% block rate on zero-day malware in the 2025 Miercom test.
For five years, we have not had a problem.
Once deployed, it downloads the policies locally, so even if the computer doesn't have internet, it doesn't matter.
It has been very stable, reliable, and accessible.
A more guided setup process or contextual help within the dashboard would make it easier for new team members to get up to speed.
I would recommend having more comprehensive documentation, including a guide for installation and configuration of Check Point Infinity.
I would improve Check Point Infinity by embedding some sort of analytics that indicates which attacks are coming from specific IP addresses very often so that we can block those IP addresses.
Controlling the cloud environment, not just endpoints, is crucial.
ThreatLocker Zero Trust Endpoint Protection Platform could improve by being a little more hands-off, perhaps by having a team inside ThreatLocker that does all the vetting of patches; having one person hired by ThreatLocker to check out patches means that a million other industries using ThreatLocker Zero Trust Endpoint Protection Platform do not have to vet the same patch, ultimately saving time and money around the world.
This feedback would help us understand what is learned in real-time, especially during a one-hour learning mode setup, ensuring we remain aware of potentially unnecessary learned items.
In terms of pricing, I find Check Point Infinity to be an expensive product.
The setup cost or license is very high.
We received a relative discount for this.
After conversations with other partners, it became clear we underpriced it initially, which caused most of our issues.
We are moving towards the Unified solution, where they basically bundle everything together, providing us better stability with the ability to bring in new product offerings without having to go back to the customer and say, 'This is going to cost you.'
Money is saved because it is not costly, and I would suggest it for other companies.
Check Point uses robust AI software to detect and recognize all cyber-attacks, giving me the ability to prevent these attacks.
Check Point Infinity has positively impacted my organization by making everything better, including the speed of the network and the security.
We have seen a faster response time and reduced effort from the network and security engineers while going through logs.
ThreatLocker Zero Trust Endpoint Protection Platform's ability to block access to unauthorized applications has been excellent.
It protects our customers.
The major benefit is fewer breaches overall, as nothing can be run without prior approval. This helps my company protect its data and secure itself effectively.
