Process intelligence has transformed procurement and order cycles and delivers measurable savings

Celonis can improve in several areas. The initial data modeling and continuous real-time ingestion, especially from non-standard legacy systems, can still be complex and quite resource-intensive, requiring a steep PQL learning curve for non-technical users. Simplifying the interface for business stakeholders would significantly accelerate the process. I think introducing a natural language to query interface would allow business users to query data without writing long PQL. Streamlining guided onboarding flows and offering modular plug-and-play dashboard templates tailored to specific roles would shorten ramp-up time for daily users. I think more transparent and predictable consumption-based pricing models would be helpful as data volume scaling can get costly quickly. I would also love to see native, real-time streaming connectors for unstructured data such as emails and support tickets. The learning curve for new users of Celonis is one of the pain points I raised earlier, and I find it to be quite steep.

Fantastic for small businesses; the customer feedback has been great

From a small firm perspective, Egnyte Connect is simple, it is easy to get users up and running the same day, and I have nothing negative to say about the software. I can't speak to how Egnyte Connect would operate in a midsize company or even a large Fortune 500 company, but, from our perspective as a small business, it is fantastic. For us, security was front and center. Usability was also important and took second place. Next, we asked "Is it simple and easy for anyone to quickly learn how to use it?" Egnyte Connect checked that box. Third place for us was price. We liked the fact that they charge on a monthly basis so there is not an annualized upfront fee that we pay.

"The issue of my authorization token expiring pretty quickly was pretty annoying. On pretty much every update, it would expire on every computer. On every computer update, at the first opportunity, it would expire. When my computer got updated or the authorization got cut, my saved drives would get messed up. So, I had to reconnect them all. I was never able to set up a useful drive system with my local computer with Egnyte Connect. It would be a big improvement if there was a cached system so that when it loses connection, it can still save what kind of connections were set up, and when it reconnects, it repopulates all those. I don't know if that's even possible, but that's the feature I'd want."
