We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The ability to write our own code inside each activity is beneficial. Sometimes we need to create functionality that doesn't come out of the box, and this allows us to do that.""The user logic is very easy to understand, even for people who are not engineers nor developers.""Agility, reverse engineering, customized portal web, help desk and user guides, easy deployment, simple to modify.""The initial setup is super simple.""The product has a comfortable GUI and a good environment for users.""Bizagi is flexible. I can share things with other consultants because it is the most commonly used software in my community. It has been a great and good resource for us in making sure that we adhere to the process.""Bizagi is a very useful tool because it does not require you to program. The user logic is very easy to understand even for people who are not engineers or developers.""The main feature of Bizagi is the speed to which we can automate processes and how we can modify them without a strong impact on the end users."

"It provides seamless unified views with awesome drill down options.""Automated root cause analysis and process explorer features are very good. It provides a lot of selections, such as process flow selection, attribute selection, etc.""Celonis has helped me to identify and prioritize process improvement areas. Because we understand the end-to-end lead time, including waiting times and areas where rework happens, we can see the performance bottlenecks.""The real-time replication was just implemented and is quite useful.""I like the spaghetti it throws off when configuring the sequence of processes and tracking the endpoint. I also like the variation from these defined processes and what is being observed on the ground. I'm exploring the root cause analysis a lot these days, and it seems to be quite interesting. But again, there are a lot of external dependencies on that. But I think the spaghetti, and the one that shows the variation and the performance gap, is something which I really like.""The process chart is valuable in identifying the bottlenecks.""From a features perspective, the discovery and analytics parts of Celonis have been valuable, especially the analytics and all of the out-of-the-box process connectors.""Its usage is relatively straightforward after the UI is set up. There's a lot of pre-built analysis that can be utilized, which saves a lot of time. Overall, it is a good product."

Cons
"Enhancing data generation methods for easier printing and refining the file attachment and user interface to optimize usability.""Bizagi allows for automation, but it's very complicated.""Agriculture, Industry.""The product must make automation easier.""Also, the tool sometimes feels not so mature when we find random deploy errors from testing to production environment.""Can be difficult for new users.""Bizagi doesn't have integrations with other solutions, such as ERP systems. In the industry and your company, you have a lot of systems with which you need to integrate, but Bizagi doesn't have such integrations, which makes it very difficult. Its scalability can also be improved. It is good for a startup, but when you need something more complex, it is not good.""Its price can be improved. The price is high for the application as well as for maintaining and developing applications. When you develop, for example, a BPM, you need to pay a lot for Bizagi."

More Bizagi Cons →

"The price could be better, but complexity is the biggest problem. Celonis is quite easy to operate once the customizations are done. You need a large amount of skill and knowledge to work with the tool. You need to understand it and know more than the basics.""For example, we would like to see improvement of the simulation capabilities to include a BPMN-compliant modeler. That is, we would like to be able to connect the simulation to the BPMN modeler. I think it's one of the features that is missing in Celonis.""It should be more flexible. It is not particularly flexible in the way it works, and it is quite rigid. It has some very strong structures that you have to follow. It could certainly be made more user-friendly to understand and should have fewer requirements for manipulation of the data to create the visualizations. We should also get better support from Celonis, and they also need to make the licensing model slightly different.""The tool must have better process graphs.""Celonis should have the ability to automate in the next release, in my opinion.""One area for improvement is that, while Celonis has existing APIs for some domains like accounts, it lacks ready-made ones for others, like financial services. This means we need to customize our data channels so the data can be used by Celonis.""Essentially, the solution should allow for more plug and play instead of requiring a person to be adept at a certain level in coding and developing.""I would really appreciate it if Celonis had significant compatibility with robotic process automation solutions. Once they define the process and understand it, streamline it, optimize it, and take inputs around it. When they reconfigure the process, there should be good compatibility with any of the automation tools, wherein I can integrate for robotic process automation, where I can streamline many of these processes on the application itself. Today, I need to extract this process and reload it into other tools, like UiPath, to integrate them with Automation Anywhere. If this tool can provide that efficiency, that would be great. I'm a data analytics guy. I lead a data analytics team. So technically, I would primarily look at if this can give me a visualization opportunity and integrate that in terms of the data."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Pricing is good value for money."
  • "For the prices, we didn't try a negotiations about licensing or pricing, but if i can say a word about this, I find Bizagi prices to be well thought out."
  • "The modeler itself is free. For the whole BPM suite, there are other options that may be better."
  • "It is on par with other BPM tools, but not as expensive as Pega nor Appian."
  • "If they can freeze the pricing in a contract, I advise them to do so."
  • "I think that its price is reasonable."
  • "This solution would be expensive for a company that has a lot of users."
  • "The Bizagi modeler can be downloaded free of charge."
  • More Bizagi Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "It is quite a significant investment. From a cost perspective, they need to reevaluate the licensing model. The cost is justified, but they need to make the licensing model slightly different."
  • "Evaluating the price of the solution can be a difficult question. It is all about the business case and the return of the investments. That is typically how we also see this type of solution. It depends very much on the return. The entry-level is focused on enterprise size companies, for the SMB segment is it is out of their range. It is definitely expensive."
  • "I was not involved in that, but I am sure it was cost-effective for them. That's why they made the decision to take it."
  • "The cost of the software for us or the client is on the higher end."
  • "The solution requires an annual license. There is room for improvement because it is priced for organizations and not for individuals. For an individual, it would be too expensive for them to use it."
  • "Celonis is expensive. It's not for mid or low-sized enterprises because the license price is high. Overall, it's quite pricey compared to anything else that I have heard about. But the good thing is that they don't charge per user. They charge for the data model."
  • "Celonis offers free learning possibilities. I am using the free version of Celonis."
  • "It is an expensive solution."
