Sentiment score
5.5
Most users find Visio documentation sufficient, but experiences vary; some use internal IT or Microsoft’s enterprise support.
The toolset is very intuitive, so we didn’t need to contact their support much.
We cannot expect major customer support.
While I like Microsoft products in general, the main issue is with the licensing options and the problems associated with them.
We generally resolve issues internally within our IT department rather than contacting Microsoft's technical support.

Scalability Issues

Sentiment score
6.6
Bizagi is scalable and suitable for medium-sized businesses, with growth potential and performance reliant on infrastructure quality.
Sentiment score
7.6
Visio's scalability differs, easy integration with Microsoft but struggles with enterprise-level needs and version compatibility challenges.
There is no direct scalability option.
If I rate scalability from one to ten, I would probably give it a six.

Stability Issues

Sentiment score
7.0
Bizagi is reliable with minor update issues, appreciated for performance and stability, but occasional bugs accompany new features.
Sentiment score
8.3
Visio is generally stable with improved performance, though complex usage and external factors can occasionally affect stability.

Room For Improvement

Bizagi requires enhancements in performance, integration, user interface, pricing, documentation, automation, reporting, marketing, and support.
Visio needs enhancements in template creation, integration, automation, usability, 3D modeling, and export functionality, especially XPDL export.
For more mature environments, the integration to live systems is lacking, which affects its applicability.
Reporting capabilities can be improved more, and community support should be increased.
Visio should implement more complex tools or graphics to facilitate processing and use flexible templates.
The visual icons and shapes for different vendors like Cisco network could be improved.

Setup Cost

Bizagi offers a free modeler while the full BPM suite, with revised licensing prices, favors larger enterprises over smaller ones.
Visio prices vary by plan; professional versions cost more, but discounts and bundles offer savings for many users.
It was less expensive than some of the other tools.
If asked to rate the price, I would give it around nine points out of ten, indicating it is somewhat expensive.

Valuable Features

Bizagi offers a user-friendly, BPMN 2.0 compliant platform excelling in process modeling and automation with fast, agile development.
Visio integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Office, offering templates, shapes, easy use, and boosts productivity by embedding diagrams in documents.
It is open source.
The user interface is very good, making it easy for business people to understand.
Visio allows me to create detailed diagrams that provide value to customers by giving them a clear view of their network and devices.
Visio was quite useful in Word and PowerPoint, which I miss in draw.io.

Enables budget review efficiency with open source advantages and workflow orchestration
Definitely, right now, it is purely open source, and we don't have much community support. If they add a few more capabilities like AIML and DocGen AI, these features would be good. Reporting capabilities can be improved more, and community support should be increased. Otherwise, people cannot onboard that particular technology easily.

We have seen return on investment in the form of time savings but should have more design tools
I am generally using Visio to create some diagrams Visio should implement more complex tools or graphics to facilitate processing and use flexible templates. It should allow users to easily drag and drop some previously created diagrams. The tools supplied or provided are very basic, and there…

The option to load Visio is available in Studio and Modeler. If you have a lot of models, it may make sense to import. However, if you have just a handful, Modeler is very easy to use and it's probably faster and safer j...
