Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

User-friendly, good UI, but does not work well with Microsoft Edge
We use the solution to automate processes such as the pay slips within the consol portal The solution is user-friendly with a really good UI and ID. The support is good. ElectroNeek has video recordings that enable us to easily automate tasks, and it includes a wide variety of activities. The…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The control room is the best part as everything can be seen and controlled from there, scheduling storing of credentials, and much more. I have used PDF extraction and other tools where data needs to be extracted and it works great at that part. I highly recommended this tool for automation."
"By combining Automation Anywhere and Appian together, we have been able to build a bot that works with Appian workflows to manage all our employees."
"What I like about Automation Anywhere is the object cloning and the way you can move the mouse and either go to a particular point or go to an element. That's very easy and intuitive in Automation Anywhere... If I need to mimic a human behavior, I will use Automation Anywhere."
"Automation Anywhere has saved us a lot of time, money & efforts by automating our ServiceNow tickets."
"The most valuable feature, which was launched last year, is Automation Co-Pilot. Microsoft has a co-pilot, but it's only for Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. But Automation Anywhere offers a co-pilot that is suitable for Salesforce, Genesys, Atlassian, and other contact center and standard applications. This is a game-changing feature for Automation Anywhere..."
"The Control Room is the most valuable feature. This is where I can schedule a task. It runs 24/7, so it's a great feature that I love. If we are not in office, we can schedule something and leave, then the bot will run at the scheduled time."
"I utilize all the commands provided by Automation Anywhere, such as all the recorders. I use these commands to develop my processes and bots."
"Having no restriction for any single programming language is very useful."
"The product's setup is straightforward."
"The solution is user-friendly with a really good UI and ID."
"ElectroNeek was extremely easy to use, especially its UI was easy to navigate with limited training."
"The cost is the best thing about ElectroNeek."
"We find the OCR feature very valuable, due to the corrector recognition that it provides; this is very useful for document processing."
"The product's initial setup phase was easy."
"The drag and drop feature, which is no code, is very useful for me because I am not a technical person. It is very user-friendly."
"My favorite feature is that you can have unlimited bots without having to buy more licenses. That's a powerful option for scalability."

Cons

"Automation tools have a lot of dependency on the environment, particularly on machines. Reducing this dependency could increase success."
"Technical support needs to be much faster. I also had the project delivery. I had six clients whom I looked after. Whenever we got stuck, it was all about sprinting. There was a two or three week sprint. Within that, if you just wait for two to three days, it doesn't make sense. The support needs to implode, because I was just talking to a customer now who came directly and asked us, "Can you give us a dedicated support team?" It's feedback from our customer that support takes too long."
"The areas that need improvement are the license management, user access permission, user role access management, and technical support."
"Some things that I do not see as of today are interactive chat or video interface. These are things that I will look for in future. I saw something like picture recognition, but something like a video or voice recognition is something that I'm looking for in the Automation Anywhere platform as an end user and even as a reseller."
"The main problem that I have with Automation Anywhere is the support. When I have problems that I cannot solve by myself, it is hard to achieve a good result with support. Language is another issue."
"In a cost-sensitive industry like banking, where automation needs to prove clear ROI, a more flexible pricing structure would assist organizations in expanding automation more aggressively without feeling constrained by budget considerations."
"We had a major issue when it came to single sign-on. We couldn't get it working. There was a bug in Automation Anywhere that eventually got solved just a few weeks back. However, we have not implemented it. We have had hiccups with the single sign-on, but otherwise it was a smooth setup. We are not using single sign-on because of this bug."
"For beginners learning Automation Anywhere, there should be predefined templates to start creating a task bot. Instead of dragging and dropping action commands and doing error handling, there should be predefined templates that they can directly use."
"The integrating capability of the product needs to be improved, to ensure that it works with all systems involved in a process."
"Its price could definitely be lower."
"It's not applicable to very large enterprises and for difficult work or more complex processes."
"The solution needs to improve its stability."
"ElectroNeek comes with three activities and we cannot add activities like we can with uiPADs."
"The pricing is an area with a shortcoming, and from an improvement perspective, it needs to be made cheaper."
"The solution works well with Google Chrome, but not with Microsoft Edge, which is the browser we use for automation."
"I think that this solution could improve remote desktop interactions."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost of Automation Anywhere is high in Turkey due to the weak economy."
"The certifications are free of cost."
"We were paying approximately $30,000 for a year license."
"We're paying a monthly subscription fee for the bot and for services. There are no additional costs beyond the standard licensing fee."
"Automation Anywhere might have a higher upfront cost than some competitors, but its extensive features and seamless integration with other tools can save organizations money in the long run."
"The solution itself is free unless we want to add the support option but we have to pay for the bots we use."
"It is not cheap, but we are able to get an ROI."
"The cost for scalability is much cheaper than developing a new system."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the pricing a seven."
"I give the price an eight out of ten."
"I believe we had a Silver Membership or something similar annually."
"My company has made a payment towards the purchase of a license from ElectorNeek."
"Its price could definitely be lower. Its licensing is on a yearly basis. There is no additional cost to the standard licensing fees."
"It's very affordable and the licensing is billed on a yearly basis."
