Strategic threat intelligence has improved detection speed and consistently reduces analyst workload
Anomali can be improved in various aspects. Its AI-driven automation can further advance, and AI-powered investigation summaries can improve. User experience could be enhanced through simplification of workflows. Better board-level cyber risk dashboards could provide easier visualization. Additionally, Anomali could work on simplifying the pricing structure. Although it excels in threat intelligence aggregation and operationalization, stronger GenAI capability, improved executive reporting, and a more intuitive workflow for analysts would further increase SOC efficiency and add more business value. Regarding Anomali's AI capabilities, governance and security are quite good. Anomali has incorporated AI and machine learning primarily to improve correlation and prioritization. These capabilities are valuable but could be more mature. The platform could achieve better threat correlation, prioritization, more anomaly detection, and allow AI to accelerate intelligence analysis while further improving quality and relevance. The accuracy and reliability of Anomali's AI output are fairly reasonable and good. The AI engine works well, but this capability could be improved. Better threat correlation with threat actors, certain indicators of compromise, malware, and campaigns is possible. Threat prioritization could increase, and alert noise could be reduced through further de-duplication. While reasonable, this is not the best available, and other products possibly have more AI maturity, such as Recorded Future and CrowdStrike Falcon.

Ensuring long-term reliability while seeking internal email management enhancements
Prisma is a commercial name of the firewall now, but we don't work with the cloud product. Only our company is using it and we do not recommend it to customers. For us, it's transparent because it's a cloud product, so we don't really know the version as it's always updated. We have not had any problem, but it's difficult to report on what's going on because some days they can wash out perhaps 100 mails, and then it's difficult to say how many attacks you have reached. The right email has been washed out and then nobody has complained. We do not use the Threat Visualization feature; as we are in MX, the mail is washed out before it is in the mail inbox of the user, thus avoiding any problem requiring a reservation. In fact, there is no integration with existing security frameworks. The only problem we can have is that as we have no API interface, there is no inspection of internal mail. I rate Trellix Advanced Threat Defense a nine out of ten.

Continuous network insight has improved early threat detection and streamlined investigations
Overall, we have a positive experience with Trellix Network Detection and Response, but like any enterprise security solution, there are areas where it can continue to improve. One area would be user interface and dashboard customization. While the platform provides a lot of valuable information, new users can sometimes face a learning curve when navigating and investigating and creating customized views. More intuitive dashboards would simplify workflows and help analysts access critical information even faster. Another area for improvement is reporting and analytics. The existing reporting capabilities are useful, but more flexibility and customizable reporting options would make it easier to generate executive-level summaries, compliance reports, and operational metrics for different audiences.

"Anomali has positively impacted our organization with many improvements since we started using it, as we receive many block hits from them, and we can say that our coverage has been extended to 90% because we do MITRE mapping."
"The feature I have found most valuable is credential monitoring. This feature is easy and quick."
"With Anomali, we benefit by obtaining threat information prior to incidents, making our threat hunts proactive and having incident response plans ready, which saves almost 40% of the time from the traditional model."
"It is very scalable."
"If a system admin can put in the patience to read and constantly update the ePO system in terms of rules, enforcing them at regular intervals, you can safely go to sleep every night."
"The features I find most valuable are: the management, the ability for automatic remediation of threats and it can successfully detect a threat, and to act upon it."
"Provides good exfiltration, and is an all-in-one product."
"I see ROI, as it stops in excess of twenty-five malware events per month, all of which could be critical to the business."
"Its greatest strength is the DXL client which can rapidly disseminate attack information to all clients via the McAfee Agent instead of going through the ePO server."
"This solution is very easy to use and requires little to no training."
"It is stable and reliable."
"It is a good product to implement, especially where the existing technology fails to detect zero day attacks."
"For our customers, it added a layer of inspection that might be missed by traditional IPS or antivirus products, and that is the capability of catching new malware that might not have been identified or seen in the wild before."
"The most valuable feature is the view into the application."
"Application categorization is the most valuable feature for us. Application filtering is very interesting because other products don't give you full application filtering capabilities."
"Improved our systems and our customers' by providing better malware protection, defense against zero-day threats, and improved network security."
"FireEye is so effective at blocking attacks that we were even able to defer an upgrade of our IPS solution, saving a significant amount of money."

"The product has helped improve our organization by being easy to use and integrate. This saves time, trouble and money."

Cons

"A lot of tools can give you many features, such as CTI intelligence and a tax service reduction. However, many people are combining different tools together to have more capabilities. It is up to the consumer whether they want to have multiple tools or have one tool that serves the purpose. Anomali Enterprise could improve by combining all the other tools' features into one solution."
"Pricing and licensing are good, but the costs for purchasing threat feeds are somewhat complicated and a bit on the higher side."
"Anomali can be improved, specifically the Security Analytics feature, because I feel there is a slight lag in that."
"An area for improvement is the intelligence sharing within the Anomali community. The tagging system can be inconsistent, as any company can use any tags for their reporting."
"Anomali Enterprise could improve by combining all the other tools' features into one solution."
"Support in the past has been top-notch, but recent trends indicate that it has taken a back seat, as we often don't get answers for days."
"One more improvement I would mention is regarding compromised credential monitoring. Anomali should increase their capability to fetch details from various dark web solutions where threat actors post compromised credentials."
"Less code in integration would be nice when building blocks."
"This product does the job, but it is not flexible enough to do new environments yet."
"This solution needs to be made "cloud ready"."
"Some of our customers have mentioned the lack of a tool that would allow for remote capabilities without being attached to the internet."
"Make the ATD system a part of the whole product and take the whole thing onto the cloud. While it is there already, it is not to the same level as the on-premise version."
"The support on their side is not readily available. It takes a while."
"The initial setup was industry standard complex. It takes awhile and has a lot of planning involved. It could be simplified with product redesign."
"The only problem we can have is that as we have no API interface, there is no inspection of internal mail."
"It was not complex, but there are things to look out for, because it's an intense product. It scans intensely and there are major obstacles to overcome if it scans while users are using a network, then it is not a good thing."
"I would love to see better reporting. Because you can't export some of the reports in proper formats, it is hard to extract the data from reports."
"FireEye’s main feature is its sandboxing or threat emulation capabilities to detect malware with extra add-ons such as signature-based IPS or endpoint protection, but these features are lacking compared to most IPS or endpoint vendors."
"It would be very helpful if there were better integration with other solutions from other vendors, such as Fortinet and Palo Alto."
"It is very expensive, the price could be better."
"Certain features in Trellix Network Detection and Response, such as using AL-type commands, may initially pose a challenge for those unfamiliar with such commands. However, once users become accustomed to the system, it becomes easier to use."
"Without tuning, you may get many false positives."
"Stability issues manifested in terms of throughput maximization."
"It would be a good idea if we could get an option to block based upon the content of an email, or the content of a file attachment."

"Its price is a bit high. A small customer cannot buy it. Its licensing is on a yearly basis."

"The tool is a bit pricey."
"When I compare this solution to its competitors in the market, I find that it is a little expensive."
"When you purchase FireEye Network Security NX, will need to purchase a megabit per second package. You must know your needs from day one."
"The user fee is not as high but the maintenance fee is expensive."
"FireEye is comparable to other products, such as HX, but seems expensive. It may cause us to look at other products in the market."
"There are some additional services that I understand the vendor provides, but our approach was to package all of the features that we were looking to use into the product."
