We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature is the policy CSPs.""The stability is good.""One of the best features is Windows Autopilot because if you change any of your devices, whatever security policies and compliance policies that applied can be easily migrated to the new devices. Windows Autopilot gives you that flexibility.""Stable product that's easy to set up compared to other MDM products.""The reporting and analytics features in Microsoft Intune have been a lifesaver.""One of the main features of the solution is it allows the management of many devices in different ways.""We are a remote company, and the product helps us manage the global endpoints. It helps us natively manage the endpoints in the cloud from anywhere.""If you need only to load a specific profile and you don't have deep security functionalities, et cetera, Intune is very nice and good."

"The most valuable features of 42Gears SureMDM include tracking location and pushing applications.""Payloads, application publishing, and cataloging features are valuable to our customers.""The solution's customer support is good.""Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""The solution is stable and reliable.""This solution is very dynamic. I can do what I need to do with it.""The tool's most valuable feature is a remote connection to the devices. You can also push and lock applications. It helps us lock devices for professional use to control which applications can be installed.""Its dashboards are valuable. It is easy to access dashboards and implement policies."

Cons
"They could also make it easier to use because there are some other products that may be easier to use in terms of the look and feel of the dashboard.""The feature that allows us to import the business application from the configuration manager to Intune is not very good at this time.""The installation is very easy. However, to be able to configure it you will need special knowledge, such as training or self-studies to have a proper level of security. There are many settings one has to understand before being able to implement Microsoft Intune.""Intune lags all of its competitors in terms of report generation.""When somebody has a customized application or their own company's application, we cannot deploy that application.""Intune has some limitations when it comes to application updates for third-party applications. You can schedule an update, but when it's a package setup, you need to supercede and replace it each time.""Intune's reporting and logging could be improved. When troubleshooting, it's difficult to collect the logs and determine what's happening. If I want to filter out the compliant devices, I can see it from the logs, but I would like the option to drill down further.""While Intune works perfectly well, the only potential downside is that the deployment could be a bit complex for some users."

More Microsoft Intune Cons →

"User creation on Mac must be improved.""The solution’s pricing could be made cheaper.""42Gears SureMDM needs to improve support because it may take around one to two days to receive a revert.""The user interface and customization features are not the best and could be improved.""The dashboards could be improved.""The product is not so convenient to deploy or to configure.""As a partner, we consider 42Gears to be a unified endpoint management (UEM) solution. So, we should be able to manage users with this particular solution. This is something that is currently not there. It is probably an area for improvement for 42Gears."

More 42Gears SureMDM Cons →

"There could be ease of integration within the environment. I didn't have any issues when using it, but the integration part was a bit difficult for the other team.""Windows 10 management is there, but VMware only recently developed that part, and it's not fully mature. Patch management and other integrations are there as well as the application-pushing part, command line, mandatory commands, etc. Some out-of-the-box solutions should be available to better integrate a broader range of applications and handle application push. That's the roadmap we should look at.""The mobile device repository is somewhat difficult to manage with a large user base.""One of the things that I want them to improve on, if possible, is the management of Mac devices, MacBook Pro, for example. They do it, but they have scope for improvement, in my opinion. It's not that it's that bad, it just a small need.""In terms of the inventory management side, as in the invoice management, the stock management and the entire inventory of an organization is lagging a bit in comparison to Blackberry or other EMM solutions.""When it comes to deployment and maintaining security, there should be an integrated console where you have a singular view of all of the products from the same OEM.""The product's initial setup phase was quite complex.""VMware Workspace ONE platform offers support for Mac Books and we see that there is some room for improvement in that area versus all the products out there."

    Reviews from Real Users

Microsoft Intune stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its ability to secure all devices under its management and the flexibility that the solution offers its users.

A computing services manager notes, "Its security is most valuable. It gives us a way to secure devices, not only those that are steady. We do have a few tablets and other devices, and it is a way for us to secure these devices and manage them. We know they're out there and what's their status. We can manage their life cycle and verify that they're updated properly."

The head of IT engineering at a financial services company writes, "The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types: we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager (MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company details on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."

SureMDM is an intuitive and powerful enterprise mobility management (EMM) solution for Android, iOS, and Windows platforms. You can secure, monitor and manage company owned devices for dedicated use as well as employee owned devices used to access company data (BYOD). SureMDM incorporates all aspects of EMM such as Mobile Application Management, Mobile Device Management and Mobile Content Management.

    Reviews from Real Users

Below is some feedback from our PeerSpot users who are currently using the solution:

PeerSpot user Patrick B., Cybersecurity Architect at a tech services company, says, "Its UI is extremely easy to use whether you're an advanced user or a novice user. When I first opened it up and had to learn the product, I was easily a novice. By the end of the third month, I was digging into the backend of the system and using it as a highly advanced user to accomplish what I needed to accomplish, and I was able to do it through the UI mostly."

Roshan T., Partner Manager North America at a tech company, mentions how satisfied he is with the product, saying, "You can put all your applications on a mobile device, be it a phone or tablet. It is secure and easy to use. Because it is centrally managed, you don't have to do any configuration on the phone. I just got the phone and connected to the central applications. I just downloaded one thing and everything got rolled out. Email, calendar, and other things were deployed centrally. If you don't have AirWatch, you have to configure your phone manually. For example, you need to deploy and configure your email manually and then synchronize everything. It is much simpler when a mobile device is centrally managed."
