When working for an organization or purchasing devices for employees, licenses can be purchased in Samsung Knox. For security purposes, Samsung Knox is effective. Through Samsung Knox, a reseller can be added. When the reseller purchases any device, they will directly add those serial numbers into Samsung Knox. Once that serial number is entered into Samsung Knox, those serial numbers can be configured in such a way that users and employees who try to enroll the device will have a seamless zero-touch experience.
Users don't have to select multiple options in the device to enroll. For this feature, Samsung Knox can be used. When looking for high-end customization, app deployment, or enhanced security, MDM consoles such as AirWatch, InTune, MDM MobileIron, or multiple tools available in the market may be needed.
Samsung Knox is doing excellent work with its current offerings. For instance, Samsung Knox can be directly integrated with the MDM console. Additionally, users can seamlessly monitor security patch updates and push the patches. The status of a device can be known instantly, including information about how many devices are using which OS and which need updates. Campaigns can be run to update those OS patches.
All the features Samsung Knox provides work seamlessly. The zero-touch feature also works seamlessly. While other consoles perform these functions for their particular products, Samsung Knox is performing exceptionally well in the market.

The system directly logs in, and the user receives apps pushed by the console. It is also integrated from the MDM. Certain apps are pushed to employees for their use. This ensures the work profile remains secure.
For example, MDM was used as Workspace ONE. Through the EMM console, Samsung Knox was integrated with the API key and password account. Once integrated, it becomes a one-time process. One client uses industrial devices, which requires a completely different enrollment process. These devices enroll through MDM without syncing with Samsung Knox, but patches are pushed through Samsung Knox. Apps are pushed through MDM, such as EFOTA to update patches. The integration is very good without issues. If issues arise, the support team in the backend can be contacted through a ticket system, and they will respond.
Cost savings are evident. This console is dependent on other MDMs as well. Regarding Samsung Knox specifically, it saves time in terms of patching and similar tasks. It provides good dashboards for understanding and quality metrics.

Knox Enrollment allows device configuration in five minutes using the IMEI. Currently, we primarily work with the Samsung Knox suites, including Knox KME and E-FOTA, along with other solutions.
The mobile enrollment services are the main reason why we use Samsung Knox E-FOTA to control firmware updates we push to our devices for better application compatibility, in addition to Knox KME, mobile enrollment, E-FOTA, and Knox Configure being the three primary Samsung Knox products we use.
Samsung Knox has good support for data protection, especially when using devices for profile installations, firmware updates, or configuration suites, as they are all data protected with a double layer of protection using our own MDM server alongside Samsung Knox services.
For work profiles, we primarily manage devices through Samsung Knox Configure and mobile enrollment services, allowing users to not go through setup processes and receive all necessary profiles, including company branding during their first phone activation.
They have good partnerships with major OEMs and EMMs partners such as Microsoft InTune and Workspace ONE, and the integration from the server side to take devices directly from Samsung Knox and our MDM solution has quite good support.
We face challenges with the application launcher when testing firmware versions, especially for kiosk mode. There are conflicts between One UI and our customized launcher, and the ability to schedule updates for future dates with Knox E-FOTA could be enhanced.

When we put it into kiosk mode or restricted certain features, they found loopholes to bypass it. After we figured out a solution and resolved the issue, another issue emerged, requiring another two months to address.

We've raised this with Samsung, and it is on their roadmap.

Most customers buy new tablets and expect zero touch. We complete the process from the back end and provide them with the steps. Customers only need to turn on the device and connect to Wi-Fi. All configurations and enrollment processes are zero touch. We do not face any difficulties in this.

I cannot differentiate them because their use frameworks are different. Apple devices have different requirements and Android has different requirements. Both are good in their respective places. There is no comparison.

Recently, a customer had a requirement for a boot animation where their company logo should appear. We were not capable of doing this without enrolling the device into Samsung Knox. After discussing with the Samsung team, we learned that enrollment was necessary for the animation. However, the customer, a building company, did not want the devices enrolled in any organization because these tablets were gifts for their customers who purchased new properties. They wanted the animation to appear only once when customers turned on the tablet.
We developed a solution where devices would be enrolled in their company's zero touch for one month. After that period, they would remove the devices so customers could use them as normal devices.
I have not noticed any complaints from customers as everything is taken care of. All requirements are available in Samsung Knox.
Based on my experience and understanding, Samsung Knox is quite good, user-friendly, and top-notch. I would rate it nine out of ten.
