What is our primary use case?
The intended use case for
Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform was going to be for a smaller chemical manufacturing consulting company that I was working for, and ultimately, I decided that those solutions weren't the best fit for the size and scale of the company. The data needed to collect and analyze with both Eightfold and Phenom was a little bit greater than what the company had money-wise to invest in, so I actually ended up going away from those solutions. I looked into them from the standpoint of corporate integration and what worked with their
ERP system, and ultimately decided those weren't the best fit.
We did not fully deploy Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform; we did not use the product.
I worked on a consultancy project looking at AI solutions from a SaaS perspective with Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform and Phenom, comparing that to developing individual agents, so I only worked on it for about six months.
What is most valuable?
From my perspective, one of the most valuable aspects of Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform was the talent matching and employee game planning of future roles. Using AI to match future roles with current skill sets and career pathing was one of the things I was most interested in for a use case.
What needs improvement?
Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform certainly was easier on the implementation side, but the company was pretty focused on a solution that directly integrated with Microsoft Office, so developing a custom agent was a little bit easier for their use case, especially due to the size. However, I didn't get too deep into the implementation because the use case wasn't there after looking deeper into it, so I didn't dive the deepest into the full integration.
Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform could be better integrated with Microsoft tools in that case.
I think scalability is there for a large corporation, but for the corporation size that we were using, it wasn't feasible.

I used the solution for about six months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
From applying for the job as myself, I found Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform to be pretty stable, but obviously, we didn't implement it, so I can't speak on a corporation level, but I can speak on a user side. From my perspective, it was stable enough.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I think scalability is there for a large corporation, but for the corporation size that we were using, it wasn't feasible.
The corporation that I had was much smaller than enterprise systems. The solution is a better fit for enterprise.
How are customer service and support?
I did not deal with their customer service or technical support; I did not reach out to Eightfold for that.
A lot of information is available online regarding Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform, but the sales representatives that I reached out to on LinkedIn weren't very helpful because once they realized that it was for a smaller company, they weren't as interested.
My experience with the people that I did get in touch with over there involved minimal communication, as once they found out that it was for a smaller-sized company, they cut off communications.
How would you rate customer service and support?
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup for Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform wasn't too complicated. However, to really get the full value out of the platforms, I think you have to dive a little bit deeper into data analysis and capturing more data. The company I was working for just didn't have the capabilities to capture that data yet, so they needed to work on behind the scenes of capturing more data about employees, skill sets, and future employees rather than developing a game plan on implementing one of these solutions.
What other advice do I have?
I have a little bit of experience with Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform, just looking into it for a consulting project I was working on, but I have no direct experience working for them.
I did work with other talent management tools such as Phenom AI, and then I worked on developing individual AI agents through Copilot Studio for the consulting job I was doing.
I couldn't give a great understanding of the pricing for Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform because I didn't look too far into it, since it was a smaller company.
I would rate Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform overall a seven out of ten.
