Centralizes our enterprise-wide functions but could benefit from cloud migration
We have dealt with customer service, and it was awful. For a system this size, it felt like we were merely buying software from them. They weren't really partnered with us on it. Reporting bugs and getting feedback, as well as having engineers work on issues, was very transactional. There was no real ownership on Oracle's part. During several support cases, it became difficult to determine ownership at Oracle and get status updates. The on-premises Oracle support is not great in my experience, and I think this is true in the industry. We've read about their software as a solution, and theoretically, their SaaS portal support is a lot better.

Industry-standard stack enables better load handling for large-scale companies
With Taleo, I experience two limitations. First, it only supports soft calls with a daily limit, which is a concern. The other limitation is that it feels outdated, and I cannot compare certain things or implement some automations that require a lot of manual intervention when initiating, generating, and calculating offers.

Affordable but needs to improve its stability
Our company is testing the UKG Ready Mobile App, but there are some glitches. I feel that in the system when you log on to Kronos, UKG Dimensions, and UKG Workforce Central, we have different modules in different versions. With regards to the newer version, I feel the older version, which was UKG Workforce Central, was more user-friendly for the end user as opposed to the newer version, which looks a bit more complicated. When training someone who wants implementations to be done, it would be easier if you could hover above certain things, and it shows you or tells you exactly what it is. There are certain SAP modules that can be audible. If you click on it if someone is being a bit slow with regards to training, the tool will tell you what needs to be done and what needs not to be done by you, but for us, it is fine because we are in the back end with configuration and the administrators. I am talking about the need for improvements in the tool for the benefit of the end users. The explanation on UKG's community consists of training manuals and some of the other stuff that we use, and we send to our supervisors at the site. With the tool in place, catching onto white-collared employees is quicker. The tool is not quick to catch onto certain blue-collared employees in the plant or supervisors who are actually working with machinery and stuff because they are not as computer-centric as white-collared employees. If I could scan the tool across the globe with our site supervisors, there are a few loopholes in the tool. There are some issues with the tool's stability. For me, I would like someone who is building the system in the back end to know if a front-end user can manipulate the system. I am not going to rate the tool's scalability to be high. I would rate the tool's scalability to be at a mediocre level or at something like 50 percent, so there is a lot of room for improvement.

"The technical support for the solution was very good."
"It makes financial operations easier to perform."
"The interface is easy to use."
"Performance and goal management are good to have, based on certain client requirements where the user base isn't too large, but the most workable domain of Taleo is the recruiting module."
"The stability of the solution is good."
"The solution's most valuable features are the OCR, single source of truth, and simplicity of the workflows."
"Good integration capabilities and extensibility."
"ATS is used to track candidates. We've used it for job requisitions, getting candidates for those requisitions, moving them through different interview stages, and then handling their onboarding process."
"The product's stability is good."
"The solution is stable and reliable."
"It is easy to use. Requisition management and pre-screening are the two most valuable features."
"The tool improved employee onboarding efficiency, especially in healthcare, where timely onboarding is crucial. This change directly impacted retention rates positively. It was a massive project that involved various teams working together. It took about a year to revamp the entire process and ensure compliance. However, once implemented, it improved employee satisfaction by saving them two whole days in the onboarding process."
"It enables us to manage the system ourselves. We don't need an additional team to do a lot of maintenance and add the things that we want."
"The pay policies and approvals are valuable features."
"UKG allows us to customize our home screen so that we can easily monitor important items on a daily basis."
"I like UKG's integration."
"The solution's UI is good. Also, it is very easy to use."
"The solution's employee experience is pretty good."
"The employee self-service feature is most valuable. This is the restaurant industry, and they have a mobile app that allows employees to go in and manage their data. So, employees can manage direct deposit accounts, emergency contacts, and other things in the app. That's definitely the biggest benefit."

Cons

"In SAP, when customization or work is done in an instance, it can be automatically copied to the production instance. Such automation would be a very good future addition to Oracle."
"The system has bugs, is not user friendly, and requires too much customization."
"Oracle E-Business Suite is hard and takes six months to one year to implement."
"I would say the integration needs improvement. Oracle needs to work on the integration layer to make the solution much more robust and modern."
"The user interface can be improved."
"Technical support is focused on-cloud versus on-premise customers."
"The implementation took a long time but it was for many reasons. However, Oracle made sure that the solution and systems were up and running."
"The user interface is not completely a web interface, it uses a lot of traffic which costs too much for a large number of users scattered throughout the country as they connect from their terminals to do their tasks."
"The pricing could be improved."
"In terms of Oracle Taleo as a product, there are a lot of things which can be developed; most feedback which I have heard from customers is about the dashboard and the home page, both of which are quite basic."
"It would be ideal if we could integrate the solution with Olympia. It would be helpful if we could add another support desk for an IT person. It would be great if the product was more interdisciplinary and could include IT."
"It only supports soft calls with a daily limit, which is a concern."
"The product was not very sophisticated in terms of what it could do."
"Lacks some systems that we need."
"The solution should be more intuitive and user-friendly when navigating the different pages within Oracle."
"There are always going to be little caveats here and there that you might not have known about as far as changes are concerned, however, it's not business-oriented to the point where the business shuts down."
"The platform's features need enhancement while being used as a recruiting tool."
"The product's integration features need improvement."
"The tool needs improvement on the configuration side."
"Reporting is always a hurdle for any user just because it is so extensive. They provide a lot of out-of-the-box reports, but it is something that you always need to work on because you need more advanced writing of reports."
"UKG could be a little more flexible in some areas."
"I would like the capability to use UKG as a single platform without the need to alternate between systems."
"The navigation on the screen could be better. Sometimes, I have to dig a little bit deep to find what I need. Everything is there. It just needs to be a little bit smoother."
"The solution could improve by simplifying it even more core reports, such as more sample reports, more generic reports that you can edit and improve on yourself."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is quite expensive."
"Oracle E-Business Suite is cheaper than SAP. It is expensive."
"I would rate the pricing a nine out of ten, with ten being very expensive."
"Oracle generally gives a lot of discounts."
"At our various customers, the software tends to pay for itself in less than two years."
"Oracle's licenses are not straightforward."
"In my opinion, the prices for Oracle ERP are reasonable, especially considering the various discounts that are often available."
"Oracle's pricing is lower than that of its competitors."
"Oracle Taleo is an expensive solution."
"Whether you pay annually or on some other payment schedule depends on the license model you choose. Typically, clients pay a yearly subscription."
"I wasn't involved in the pricing part. I'm a user, and I believe it is based on the user count. One thing that is nice about Ultimate is that you can learn how to use the system without additional fees. The learning aspect is the life of a product, and the training was a huge reason why we went with Ultimate. We did have some integration costs. They were a part of the implementation because of the integrations to other systems that we included in our implementation."
"While I am unsure of the licensing cost itself, the total cost of implementation and licensing for a company with over 5000 employees would be around 6,00,000. So, there are additional costs beyond licensing."
"UKG's pricing and licensing model involves ongoing expenses based on the number of employees paid. The initial implementation cost is low when UKG implements it directly. However, when partners handle the implementation, it becomes more expensive since partners don't receive the monthly recurring fees."
"The pricing depends on the number of licenses we buy."
"The platform is not affordable but also not the most expensive."
"If you're going for the full suite, it can be fairly pricey."
