This project focuses on enhancing the usability and visualization of lead data inside Zoho Creator by integrating Google Maps through a custom widget. The solution aims to provide users with an intuitive, map-based interface for viewing, adding, and managing leads directly within the application.
Key Features:
Interactive Google Map Widget
A custom widget embedded in Zoho Creator using Google Maps API.
All existing leads will be plotted on the map as markers with details such as lead name, contact info, and status.
Filters (e.g., by region, status, date created) to control which leads are displayed.
Lead Creation from Map
Users can create new leads directly by clicking on a specific location on the map.
A lead entry form will appear as a popup modal for quick data entry without leaving the map view.
The system will capture geo-coordinates (latitude & longitude) automatically from the map location.
Lead Details on Marker Click
When a user clicks on an existing lead marker, a popup will display lead details (name, contact, status, address).
Option to edit or update lead details directly from the popup.
Seamless Integration with Zoho Creator Database
All new and updated leads are stored in Zoho Creator’s database in real time.
Data synchronization ensures map and database remain consistent.
